The pens themselves are very good: easy to use, long-lasting, and a great value. However, the shades 01 and 02 pull red and dark. I’m roughly an NC20, and these don’t work for me. Please add softer browns to the range.

The felt tip makes it easy to dot the “freckles” on in uneven shapes so they look more real. It doesn’t dry instantly, so you can quickly wipe and re-do if you don’t like the way your freckling looks. I blot the freckle with my finger right after I put it down to give it a little more of a blend. They lasted most of the day, though the darker ones weren’t as dark as when the day started. They came off easily at night with my regular face wash. No need for scrubbing. They’re not 100% realistic looking, but they’re realistic enough to be cute!

I got these for my daughter who was thrilled. The pens were easy to use but I advise testing somewhere other than your face first. You really need to get a feel of what and how to use the pen for your liking and you don't want a bunch of dark spots. It was a great price and a great value and I am sure then should last awhile. Plus they made super cute freckles.

These freckle pens are pretty cool, I will say. They look darned natural, especially if you have dark hair like I do. I can make both colors work, but one pen, more so then the other. But basically it’s like 2 for the price of 1. They don’t easily rub off using my fingers, but with a little water, they are easily removable. So I’m guessing these are NOT meant to be waterproof 🤷♀️, just smudge proof? Not quite sure, but I didn’t let them set long. I wanted to see if they’d smudge quickly. NOPE! I think they’ll last an entire typical day. If you are blonde or have light brown hair, I really wouldn’t recommend these. Medium brown- dark brown- black hair? All good. They’ve basically met my expectations & they’re a good value, which bumps it up a bit more. 4.25 stars considering quality for cost! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + 1/4 ** I hope my review has been helpful 😊.**

Both colors are REALLY dark especially next to my real freckles but the 03 one is usable and more matching once it fades a little. The 04 shade is just extremely dark almost black looking which makes it look super fake. If you're on the lighter end of the skin tone range that shade is likely not for you. Darker skintones though it would work well! But I still have to dock a star because the 04 shade is leaky and the marker is running color liquid after just one use.
