I bought two of these blankets a couple years ago before moving into my car for a year of adventure. We used these blankets daily for sleeping and other tomfoolery such as running around camp in cape mode after a few beers. The button snaps are a very nice touch and can even be climbed in on those extra chilly mornings at the crag. They don't pack down too small, but they're certainly convenient. I still use the blankets today and they have somehow not sustained a single tear. Everyone is always super jealous when they try them out and are shocked when they see how excellently they're priced.

This is a Quality Camping Blanket. It is everything one should be. Thick, warm, light weight, easy to clean. I really love this one and has a nice little bag to keep it in. I highly recommend. This is the best one out there.

These are great. In that they pack down well, are lightweight & comfortable. But rated to keep a person warm down to 40 degrees? Unless you're long used to cold outdoor chilly sleeping conditions. I wouldn't recommend this. Our first night with these dropped to 46 degrees and it was riding VERY thin line on unable to sleep whatsoever because of the cold. For most people I'd not use this in conditions of anything less than 55 degrees for the low temps. Could manage 50 degrees but it's not super pleasant.

The warmth rating of this quilt was definitely not oversold. It got down to about 43 degrees overnight and I was very warm and cozy. It is not waterproof, however. The stuff sack seemed so, but saturated quickly during our hike (it was in my backpack where there was a small leak into the compartment) and the quilt was wet. Thankfully, not saturated, though, and seemed to dry quickly once my body heat was present. Would buy again and recommend, just don't really on the waterproof-ness.

As an avid camper in the PNW I was delighted to find a water proof blanket that is cozy and warm on the inside and water resistant on the outside. My friends have borrowed her for their winter camping excursions as well, and in the end I had to buy her one so I could get mine back. She loves the pocket and the fact that it fits around her so well when she's in her hammock. I love the fact that I am warm, dry, and sitting in the rain enjoying the fire without reservation. Wise Owl, you make my camping life so much better! Thank you.

The soft side is so soft and nice. The other side being water proof makes it a great blanket to set out. Also great when I have had wet seats in the Jeep. Protects my butt from getting wet.

Excellent softness warmth and snaps and loop so make it easy to hold in place. I purchased three other brands and wise owl was my favorite - its packing bag is easy to use with a clip handle and the loops And snaps are smart features. Only knock is I hadn't to air it out to get the new smell off it- I'm highly sensitive And no one else could detect anything, I mean no one, but after a few days it became fantastic and I love it- it's the only reason its 4 stars and not 5.

This was a perfect find for child's school camping trip. Miraculously, it folds up and packs away into the little bag that it came in. It felt thin to me, but she said it kept her warm all night. Fits a younger child pretty well, I'd get a larger size for teen/adult.

I like this blanket, just used it camping. The only thing is the first night it was 58 degrees and I was so grateful I had grabbed a blanket from my couch before leaving. I would have been really cold with just this blanket and a flannel sheet, in my tent. Now I am a Floridian but still. I saw reviews on YouTube where people used it in colder temps than 58 and were fine but for me no, not for sleeping anyways. I like the blanket and recommend it, but if you tend to need extra in regards to warmth, be mindful of that with this blanket.

Update: I LOVE this blanket! I took it camping this week and wrapped it around myself as I felt the temps drop into the upper 30s. Within minutes, I was nice and toasty. I've already recommended it to friends! I bought this blanket to sit around a campfire. I will be testing its warmth this week! It is soft and slick, as you would expect from this type of material. Tip to get back into the bag: reviewers were saying this blanket it not easy to get back into the handy bag it comes with. I tried the stuff and shove method. It got back in the back, but the perfectionistic side of me did not like that it was bigger than originally packaged. I just refolded it. I used the "fold a blanket into a pillow" method that I googled. That kept the blanket together to get it back in the bag in a more compact way than stuffing and shoving. My perfectionistic side is happy now!
