This is an easy to put up Hammock, straps are with it and clips, throw over a branch and you're good, unless you're my husband and his brother 🤣. But make sure you have it high and wide enough or you are sitting on the ground. We got it for our back yard, but we live in a area that has experienced alot of storms and wind lately. This had held up, we haven't taken it down or anything and it's like we just bought it, and it has took a beating from the storms and wind. The cup holder is okayish, depending on your height and how you end up in the Hammock, I'm 4'11 and a half, it's in a great spot, husband is 6 foot, not so great. After seeing a video about how to lay comfortably in a hammock (which I had never done), I decided to take the plunge and buy a hammock. I was surprised to see such great reviews for such a reasonably priced item, so I got one. Arrived quickly and undamaged. I was very pleasantly surprised at both the quality of the hammock how easy it was to get comfortable in it. Once you know how to hang it at the proper angle and lay in it diagonally, it is very comfortable. If I ever need to buy another, I would opt for an 11' over the 10", but that is a minor quibble. I've been spending a lot more time outdoors at my local park. I hang up my hammock alongside the lake, pop in the ear buds, and spend a few hours enjoying life. The last two years my hammocks have not lasted to use another year. I loved the thin rope weave hammock but it was too expensive to not last more than a season. I decided to give this hammock a try and I really like it. It’s not the same as my previous hammock but they are too different to compare. This was easy to hang up on my hammock stand but I did have to get creative with the hammock straps as the stand is much bigger than the hammock. I wish there were smaller loops in the straps; however, this hammock seems to be intended for camping and use with trees. I haven’t tried that yet. The hammock is comfortable but you do have to get a little creative with how you lay in it because it cocoons you a little bit. The only negative with that is it comes up around my head and limits my vision a lot. That’s probably my only complaint as I like to enjoy the view. I bought this on a whim not knowing how well I would sleep in it when backpacking. I've never been able to sleep well in a tent and thought I'd try this. In 10 minutes I was sound asleep and didn't wake up at all during the night. It's a bit on the heavy side compared to a tent when you add the bug net and tarp. I found that if I wore a bug net over my head that I use when hiking, I don't need the one for the hammock. Now I've got to come up with a lighter tarp. Regardless of the weight as is, I wouldn't go back to my tent. Also, there are lighter carabiners available which you'll want to swap out with the ones that come with this one. The light weight ones I found are half the weight which is significant when you're counting ounces. I'm looking at lighter tree straps as well. For the price, you can't beat this setup. ... show more

DO NOT let your life pass you by without owning a portable hammock like this Wise Owl Outfitters Camping Hammock! I bought one of these hammocks a few years ago, used it more than one hundred times, never had a quality issue with it, but, it did NOT come with a padlock and somebody stole it. I missed having the hammock so, so much and bought another one. I am so grateful I did. This hammock and its straps weigh nothing and take so little room to store in my backpack that I do not even notice that it is there. I like to hike and ride my mountain bike through nature. I take this hammock everywhere I go. I love to find a couple of trees in nature, stop, set up the hammock and take a nap whenever I want. It is amazing how just a 20 minute nap can be a day changer! Heaven. My best naps ever have been in one of these hammocks. I weigh about 180 lbs. and I have the single. The first one was a double and my wife and I used to take the occasional nap in it with no problems. The build quality is excellent. I have never had a single problem with any of the components. No, I am not getting paid to write this review and I have no affiliation with the company. I do not write many reviews. However, I do like to write a review when the product is excellent as this one is. I will also write a review if I have major problems with a product so others do not go through the frustrations I have gone through. It can take a little getting used to setting up the straps and hammock just right. Your time spent will be well worth it and pay off many times over. Like I said in the beginning, DO NOT let your life pass you by without owning a portable hammock like this Wise Owl Outfitters Camping Hammock! Have had this about a month so far. Set it up in a couple different locations: on my back porch to in the trees. Setting up and tearing down only takes a few minutes and is super easy. It’s strong material and really comfortable and fun. My three year old daughter loves it, too. Love this hammock – it’s my second one! Purchase this gently used hammock since a friend was in need of a bit of TLC and wellness time in the country. With the help of extension straps since trees are spaced far apart in my yard, I hung this hammock and my other one in no time. You should’ve seen the look on her face as she climbed into one of the hammocks and swung gently in peace. She’s a cancer survivor and just needed a bit of time alone.
