    • All makes are a pain to install, not much room under the seats.
These are made of a strong gauge of metal and look like they will last a long time. Locking lever isnice and strong.

Installed on my fishing boat to allow me to rotate the drivers seat to a variety of positions when anchored for fishing. I installed the seat mount onto a carpeted plywood bench. I had to install the lever backwards for my application, but i can still get to it easily. I don't cover my boat during the summer months. This thing is BEEFY honest didnt expect it to be so heavy duty but that part is nice, the reason i only gave it 4 stars was because its like theres 0% lubrication where its supposed to swivel and it just kinda chipped away a bunch of black paint upon doin a swivel... (Update) a year later and the swivel is still holding strong, i slapped a bit of lube up in'er and its silky smooth, i can spin like im in a computer chair.. okok maybe not that smooth but youre catching my drift i think.. DEFINITELY PICK THIS UP but also probably get some grease or some sort of lubricant and youll have yourself a swivel seat in no time! ... show more

Works well, however with an rv seat mounted, it does have some sway, also the detents every few degrees are annoying for my purposes. The distance between the heads of bolts and the arm are quite close, will need some flat t-bolts or low profile heads to clear so it can rotate. I definately got my moneys worth, but would have paid more if a more solid locking swivel was offered. Seems safe to throw my wife in the co-pilot seat of my bus conversion! ... show more

    • Works great, make sure to buy the right hardware.
This works very well on Wise seats. The holes line up perfectly. The seat came with bolts, but the swivel did not come with hardware to bolt up to the pedestal underneath. I found out the hard way that you need to use carriage bolts. Regular hex head bolts stick up too high and the latching mechanism hits the bolt head and won't let it swivel. Buy some 1/4" stainless carriage bolts. ... show more

    • There are no imstructions making it difficult.
Very difficult to install due to lack of directons. Should take 20 min. to install 2. Took 2 1/2 hours by trial and error. First attempt upside down. 2nd attempt washers under bolt heads made them interfer with mechanism. 3rd attempt bolts were on inside of slots and interfered with mechanism. 4th attempt bolts on outside of slots worked but chair crooked. 5th attempt loosened all bolts, twisted seat as far as possible. Finally worked. All of the hassle could have been avoided by including directions. And after all of that, only 2 out of 3 worked at all. One was defective. ... show more
