I bought these just to keep in my Truck for Emergencies. A couple of weeks ago I gave my Boat to a Nephew, after he realized that the old lights didn't work on the trailer, He got his Expensive Set of Magnetic Lights only to find out that they didn't work. I gave him These and they worked GREAT!

I was gonna replace my trailer lights anx harness until I came across these. I have to say, they are excellent. I screwed electrical switch plate covers to the back wooden tailgate of the trailer, and the strong magnets keep them in place. I have little Eye hooks inside the trailer that I tether the included wires to so they don’t get lost although I don’t anticipate they would dislodge from the metal plates with those strong magnets, they are pretty safe. And they worked right out of the box. You do have to remember to press each button as they do shut off when the car shuts off. So easy to use, and very practical. I just put hazard lights on to make sure that they’re activated before I takeoff. ... show more

The lights work fine, but the biggest issue with this kit is the socket/transmitter that goes into your bumper for the trailer lights is made of hard plastic. I have a 2020 GMC Yukon and the adapter was hard to put in the socket and it is very difficult to pull out. On my second use of the lights, I pulled the adapter out and just the plastic shell came out, leaving the control board and internals left in the socket. I had to get needle nose pliers to pull out the internals and it obviously damaged the product. I hope the vendor can view this post and provide a replacement adapter for my light kit. ... show more

Great item. I purchased these because my farm trailers that don't get on the road very often, but when they do I have issues with trailer lights because brush or mother nature has interfered. These are super easy to use and always ready. They come in a nice carry case and have a steel cable to attach for extra security that you can attach if you are concerned about them falling off.
