This speaker does what it says: It's big, loud, has a cool light show, and is reasonably portable. Sounds great, and lasts hours. I had it on pretty high volume for 3 hours the other day and had zero issues with the battery. I don't think there's a battery indicator, per se, so I'm not sure how much battery life was left, but I'm happy. I'd add that the remote is one of those cheap IR remotes that seems to come with everything that has RGB lighting these days. It requires line-of-sight, doesn't work great outdoors, and the sensor is on the back of the unit. It's basically useless, since it won't really work more than a couple feet away. If you really need a remote, I'd say this probably isn't the model for you. It's not an important feature to me, since spotify over bluetooth basically turns my phone into a much, much better remote anyway. I think the bigger issue to add is that I initially received a defective unit. The charger connector did not work without tugging on the cable, and even then it was only spotty. Pyle support was severely lacking, demanding that you "chat" with them through Facebook messenger, during short business hours, with responses taking at least 24 hours, and always asking for more documentation or pictures. However, when I contacted Amazon, the seller instantly offered to send a new unit, which they did. It was a painless process, very fast, and the new unit arrived in perfect working order! I'm glad to know that the seller and Amazon stand behind their products, even when the manufacturer tries to avoid doing so. ... show more

I gave it 4 stars because there was 2 holes in the back that looked like it was damaged somehow. everything else was fine it sounds and looks good over all and I covered the holes myself so that healed the busted look. This item is very lite. It is nowhere near 1200 watts of power. Rated at 1200 watts, this would have a speaker magnet that weighed as much or more than the battery, this item doesn't even weigh in a 5 pounds if that. The weight does make it very portable and easy to move around. The sound quality is good, but the volume extent is in the 10-20 watt range. I have a portable 100watt speaker with only an 8" speaker, and it is twice as loud, and weighs close to 30lbs. with the combined weight of the speaker mag and the battery. For the price, this is a good speaker, but it is not anywhere near the specks it has listed. The price is at the right level of the actual specks. I love this system! It is so much more than I expected! I was looking for something simple to practice praise & wordship for Church. Not realizing that really doesn’t exist to get the sound quality I wanted without investing a little. But being in my 50’s i eventually learned what was needed and how to setup & connect my speaker to the Pyle PA MIC System PSWM2120 I already had. First off the shipping was I mean super fast but I haven't even charged it yet or turned it on but on first glance and look over it's very light weight and seems cheaply made just being honest I have an 8 inch subwoofer in my car that weighs twice as much as this whole system it's kind of a joke how light it is I mean it doesn't need the wheels I've held heavier infants it's a lot more plastic than I expected too and the speaker itself looks plastic. Speakers especially pa speakers aren't supposed to be this light so i don't know yet. I kind of really don't want to even give it a try and just send it back. I don't know yet I may or may not try it I'm pretty disappointed with just the look and feel of it cost me 130 probably cost them 10 to make or less if I decide to turn it on and it's amazing I will definitely change my review. Well I finally charged it turned it on and it is as about as cheap sounding as it looks people who say it sounds good are most likely deaf I've had carry along little Bluetooth speakers that sound better they are lucky they got 2 stars they really don't deserve it ... show more
