I needed inexpensive sound to isolate subjects on a noisy trade show floor while filming them with my iPhone. This worked without much thought. Just charge the microphones and the receiver, plug it into the phone, and clip the microphone on your subject. There's even a second microphone for a second person that can record simultaneously on 2 tracks - something even much more expensive wireless microphone systems for DSLRs don't have. The only thing to know is that 2 track ability means each microphone records on only one track. So if you are listening on a headset, you will hear the sound of one person through one ear, and the sound of the other person through the other ear. This is a minor thing. These microphones are great, and easy to use.
