I decided to look for a wireless microphone as I fed up with filming a video and forgetting that I was physically connected to my phone or camera with the wire from my microphone. I have lost count the number of times I have walked away pulling my tripod over. I did not want to spend a small fortune on a brand name so after a search on Amazon I came across the KIMAFUN 2.4G Wireless Microphone Headset and Lavaliere Lapel Mics it was reasonably priced and included 2 mics. The 2.4G receiver and transmitter have a built-in rechargeable battery which is charged with the double micro use lead included. They are very simple to use all you have to do is charge the transmitter and receiver, plug the receiver into your phone I have the iPhone 11 so I did have to use my Lightning to 3.5mm adapter and plug your selected mic into the transmitter, switch them both on. They have a flashing blue indicator on each and connect to each other straight away and the lights then go steady blue and you are ready to go. You can adjust the audio level on the transmitter to get the right level for your voice and device. The audio is very clear and I am really impressed with the microphone for the money I paid, this is going to be a great asset to my video making kit, at last, I have the freedom to move around. One thing you do have to remember when playing the video back on my phone I did have to disconnect the mic from my phone so I could hear the audio on playback. The build quality if the kit is good and I am confident these are going to last a long time.     • Great sound, okay-ish lifespan
works great! Crisp, loud sound and holds battery life for 4-ish hours. It fits my head and doesn't wobble around like many mics like this. But taking off a star bc this is my 3rd one of these- I'm a fitness instructor and they last about 6-9 months of daily use, so not great life span. It starts to crackle, sound cuts out, and charge doesn't hold up. ... show more

    • Excellent quality and Bluetooth range for Teachers.
This is the second device that I got.I got a new one because I gave it to a friend that is teaching hybrid. I got a new one also because this one came with mic and headphones 3.5 mm adapter and to replace the other one. I started using this one since September 2019 and these are some of the reasons what I think is an excellent product: You can connect to any speaker with or without Bluetooth, because the receiver is 3.5 mm and has an 1/4 plug adapter. Bluetooth range is perfect to work in the gym and classroom. Sound quality is excellent. 4 months later after I got the first one the school bought us a DUAL SURE professional Portable microphone system, but I am honest with you, the difference on Audio quality is minimal. SURE system cost around $350 and this one just $55. Body pack is rechargeable and light, then I don’t have to spend money in batteries. You can connect it to your cellphone, computer or video camera to record or show live class sessions with out sacrificing audio quality when you are far from your computer, phone or video camera. I am going to get a third one for my wife because she teaches Spanish and probably in November she will start teacher hybrid.     • The quality and accessories are beyond my expectations
The value for the money, this should be 6 stars. It has everything I could think of and even more. It is the first product that did not even have to buy any other accessories and it is much cheaper than all other wireless mics (this is the first thing to note). It comes with all possible accessories, which are well arranged in the package box including accessories for smartphones, cameras, and more. It comes with three types of microphones that can help us cope with any situation with ease. I prefer the stand mic, but the headset mic is a really great look for presentations. I tested the wireless range at 80 feet and the sound was as good as next to the camera and I believe it will cover the 100 feet easy. The sound quality was great, the sound is clear, and very low noise can be heard or may not be noticed at all. It is the perfect all in one cost-effective solution.     • 2nd try: didn't work with laptop, current phone, and 1:1 with portable PA
You must use that splitter. Directly plugging into a 3.5 on your computer or your phone won't work. Works like a charm so far. I haven't been able to really test it out on my laptop yet, though. I am not sure how to do this on my own. Tried again: My portable PA didn't recognize it, then did, now doesn't anymore. You can't use the splitter with a PA - direct with that extra connector into the mic portal. My computer will not recognize it as the mic ever. I have a Blackberry running Android and it does not recognize this. The only one that does consistently is my Samsung Galaxy S4. When it works, it is very nice and normal. However, you have zero idea what the balance is or how loud you sound because it is not headphones, only a mic, UPDATE: if you use this with a laptop, you need one of those USB converter things that splits into two 3.5 mm jack with the microphone (red) and the speaker (green). Now that i figured out what piece is missing, i love it. Still never got it to be recognized through my phone. I gave up, and use from my laptop ... show more

    • Background Buzz Makes This Unusable
This never worked - the Kimafun system is simple but the background buzzing sound ruins the audio. The mic on my iPhone produces dramatically better sound quality. I'm disappointed I cannot return it.

    • Great wireless mic for the price!
This is a great wireless mic for the price, use it to teach online Tai Chi, Qigong, and Kung Fu classes. I had a problem with the first one I ordered, but Amazon took it back as a return and then I just ordered a exact replacement. No problems with this one, and I use it a lot every week. And it works great with my mini-amp that I use with it when teaching outdoors. Excellent sound quality, pretty impressed with it. The transmitter and receiver sync up very quickly, and the range is excellent for this price point. Highly recommend it. One thing I would recommend is to use the 5 GHZ band on your router to avoid any possible interference with the mic. You will definitely be pleased purchasing this mic! ... show more

    • Amazing Microphone
I purchased this wireless mic for my group fitness live virtual class. The mic is amazing with easy set up. Not complicating. However, with numerous tries the split would not work. My husband, who is a DJ, also tried and we couldn't get it work. I have a MAC book Pro and we went to YouTube and tried other splits we have in the house and nothing. Again, the mic worked perfectly. I just couldn't use it. Overall it's an amazing piece of equipment and if you're in the market for a wireless mic get this. I don't usually leave comments but I was compelled to leave this one especially with so many people doing virtual classes and need a mic. Sound quality is amazing.
