This Custom Drone Valley Smart Controller Wireless Microphone Kit allows you to quickly use an external microphone with your Smart Controller. This enables you to record better audio when you're narrating your drone flights. The wireless receiver plugs directly into the bottom USB-C connector on the Smart Controller and the wireless transmitter clips to your shirt. The case is also a power bank and will recharge the transmitter when you slip it back into its slot. This product can also be used with most phones and laptops that provide audio through their USB-C port. This audio system works great! I was very satisfied with my drone videos including the crisp, clear audio I was finally able to add! This mic can hear whispers and turn them into awesome audio! And I mean w h i s p e r s. I barely breathed while testing and got back the same quality as if I was talking or singing*. *BONUS!     • Seemed to work, ok, but not what you want
I did get it record voice on my DJI rc controller but only if I did the voice record button on the screen but once I listened to it it didn't keep it on my micro SD card didn't record as expected when flying, but perhaps I didn't do something correctly but this was my experience on the RC or on the rc2 controller I used both USB c ports like the directions said, but then again I couldn't get it so try it and perhaps you will have better luck that experienced, ok but just what I wanted to let others know ... show more

… not for the drone. I have one for the drone and returned this. I called the manufacturer before and they were nice and asked me to return if I couldn’t get it to work.
