    • Pen works OK but batteries are hard to adjust
The pin operates smoothly, but this is one of the more tedious batteries to adjust the power on. This can be mitigated by using other brand or aftermarket batteries, but I if that rate rather buy the unit itself without the batteries for less money, and use whatever batteries I prefer, rather than have these difficult batteries included and pay the money for when I’m probably not gonna use them ... show more

    • Decent but a few issues
I really like the overall design of this machine, it's not too horribly loud, there's not a significant amount of vibration. However once the machine is wrapped and ready to be used the mechanism by which you adjust the needle depth is extremely difficult to access. It's also very hard to rotate, there are some obvious clicks to allow you to know where you're at, but overall it's very tight and the grip at the top is very small. Now one thing that I did like about it, was the girth of the overall machine. It's not massive, which made it easier to do certain functions like lining short and tight radiuses, and made it significantly more comfortable in the hand when doing a lot of straight lines. The diameter allows you to better customize the grip using grip tape. Overall, I give this three stars. Good entry level machine for beginners working on fake skin. Also possibly a good starter for someone with smaller hands or perhaps someone who doesn't have the grip strength to use a girthier machine. However, that all being said, I don't know if I would use this machine on my skin simply due to the fact that there are better options at slightly higher price points. ... show more
