  • EarFun is getting close. Wishlist for Free Pro 3
These are my current fav earbuds with some required minor yet necessary improvements. First, for me, these are pretty much the perfect sized earbuds that fit in your ear and won't fall out. They are pretty comfortable for the most part. In general, no one's ears are exactly the same (left and right). Sometimes my left ear back area where the earbud touches gets a bit sored so I switch to just listening to the right ear only (my right ear never gets sored).. which brings me the issue to using just one earpiece at a time, but more on that later. Comfortness for earbuds can be a subjective subject anyways since everyone has slightly different ear contour, shape, and sensitivity. You really just need to try them (as for any brand/model you are interested in). For some bass testing, I use my one of my fav songs. You can search on youtube for "dark knight trilogy medley live". At the 3 minute mark, there's a few seconds of isolated low bass. I didn't know it was there until you get decent enough headphones or speakers to test. On speakers that aren't great, it sounds like silence. This Free Pro 2 sets picks it up pretty nicely. I found out I don't really like using "normal" mode. I use either ANC mode which does a nice job of removing background noise like fans and such. ANC mode also seems to enhance the bass and general audio for some reason. Other times, I like to hear the ambient noise around me so I use that mode as well. Of course, the sacrifice is shortened battery time per charge. What I love is the ability to use one earpiece at a time. Since I use these at my computer desk, I have the case around when I want to put one of the earbuds away. It pretty much immediately orients the stereo sound into the one monopiece earbud you are currently using. I tested switching back and forth pretty quickly (placing one in ear and the other in the case) and it updates flawlessly. It's a great feature! However, there's a drawback to using just one earpiece as noted in 2. below. Now my complaints. 1. I had the original Earfun Free earbuds, and I absolutely loved the tactile button (but those earbuds are just in general too bulky). It had just the right amount of required press to trigger a button press without putting extra pressure on your ear. I'm a fan of tactile buttons over using simple touch. This is because I like to adjust the earpiece slightly once in a while.. but sometimes this will trigger either a volume up or down event on the Free Pro 2. 2. When using just one earbud, unfortunately, if you touch the one you are wearing/using (like adjusting how it sits in your ear), it still has the volume up and volume down operations on the single touch/tap. So, if you are using just the left one, you can keep accidentally triggering the volume down function. Likewise for the right earbud.. the volume up can repeatedly trigger. In my opinion, since the software knows you are just just one, the volume function/operation should be disabled! Should be a simple software fix. At least for me, this volume operation is separate and independent from the volume of the connected device. 3. Please, please! We want to be able to program the button operations! Some of the competitors have this feature! If it were up to me, I would disable the single tap operations for volume up and down.. or possibly change these to triple tap or something. How often are we needing to change the volume on the actual earpiece? I like doing this operation using my actual phone or computer volume controls. 4. I liked the original Earfun Free case which has 4 indicator lights in a row on the case that showed battery capacity. With the new case of the Free Pro 2, there's just one light, and you just need to learn the meaning of the light when it stays on for 3 seconds vs 1 second, etc, when opening and closing the case. So, I do love these earbuds and am living with the inconveniences noted in my list above. So, if/when they come out with the EarFun Free Pro 3, I hope they address the current issues. ... show more

  • 5 stars for customer service
These are super comfortible headphones and easily fit my ears without falling out. I use them mostly for listening to music while walking or gym exercise but have also found them useful for phone calls. I will note after several months of use I had a problem with one of the earbuds not working properly and have to say customer support could not have been better. After a quick exchange with support issue opened on line and email correspondence the company replaced the broken set with a new one within two days. I can't say how great this is having not had to buy a second pair while sorting out the warranty issue. ... show more

  • Great head phones just that simple
This is my second pair the first pair got washed and the charging base got a bit messed up. They have such a small form that the can hardly be seen if in my ears. Not like the apple head phones that have the bar hanging down so everyone can see that you have them in. They are comfortable and you can even lay your head on a pillow with them in your ears and they will not hurt your ears. ... show more

  • Best earbuds I've owned to date
Great pair of earbuds though I would recommend waiting either for a sale or coupon (It regularly goes for $60). Have owned them for a year now and have had only 2 issues. 1 - After a year, the battery now only last about 5 hours 2 - The touch controls are incredibly irritating. Sometimes it doesn't know the difference between 2 taps, 3 taps or a table. I was also pleasantly surprised by how small it is. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Better quality than Pixel Buds Pro
Purchased these for a long road trip and I am truly impressed by the sound quality, noise cancelling and battery life. They sound a lot better than the Pixel Buds Pro that my step son has. The battery life is much better too. I can't rave about these to my friends enough.

  • Earfun free pro 2
I had the original pro earbuds and they worked very well until the right one came apart. So, I replaced those with the earfun free pro 2 and they operated well and had great overall design including the case but the touch sensitivity was very hard to get right. Trying to play or pause media required very precise tapping on a very specific spot to make work. Improve that and I would buy again. ... show more

  • Decent noise cancellation, good sound quality, excellent support; poor battery life & touch controls
Nice pair of earbuds, I've been happy with them! The noise cancellation does the job, and is able to greatly reduce loud noises from cars and planes, and the overall sound quality is excellent. The battery life is so-so, lasting maybe 4-5 hours. I felt it was comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I never experienced any issues with them falling out, but I never used them for any activity more vigorous than walking. I found the touch controls to be pretty inaccurate and annoying sometimes, so I never really used them. One thing to note - I started experiencing problems with the buds not being able to hold a charge a little over a year into using them. But customer service responded quickly to help me with my issues and sent me a replacement with no issues, so I can definitely recommend their support! ... show more
