Simply put, these earbuds are OUTSTANDING ALL AROUNDERS! I've listened to and/or have owned around two dozen sets of earbuds, many have been the highest-end sets from the likes of Bose, Sony, Technics, Samsung, Jabra, JBL, Sennheiser, Apple, Soundcore and a few others I can't remember but I've also listened to my share of budget earbuds from Jlab,1more, Tempo, Soundpeats, Soundcore, Earfun and others. While not industry leading in any one category, these Earfun Free Pro 2's have been my greatest discovery of the bunch as they do so many things really well. While I'm not an audiophile, I do enjoy listening to good music through good gear. And while I'm willing to pay a few bucks for a higher-end experience, I also appreciate a bargain. These Earfun Free Pro 2's have provided me with both great sound in a conveniently small and light package at a terrific price point. The earbuds themselves stay put thanks to their rubber fins and diminutive size and feature Bluetooth 5.2; the case is incredibly small, easy to pocket and features a USB-charging port. But it's the sound where these earbuds really shine. While the rich bass and good clarity get most of the headlines, for me, it's the incredible soundstage that really allows the listener to become immersed in the music and sets these earbuds apart from not only it's cheaper brethren but from many of its higher priced competitors as well. It's second best soundstage I've heard with only Soundcore's Liberty Pro 3's offering a better one (and IMHO, the Liberty Pros 3's soundstage is on par with the Bose ANC ). Speaking of ANC, the Earfun's ANC is nothing special, though it does work relatively well (2.5 out of 5 stars) unlike some other cheaper earbuds ANC which doesn't seem to make any discernable difference. Along with a middling battery life of 4 hours with ANC and 6 hours without (also 2.5 out of 5 stars), these last two features are the weak links to an otherwise incredible package. Thankfully, I don't find myself listening to music for 3 or 4 hours straight very often so the battery limitation doesn't bother too much especially since the case itself offers over 20+ hours of recharging capability. Finally, while I turn to my Bose, Sennheiser's and Soundcore's periodically, as each offers certain qualities I really enjoy, I turn to these smaller, lighter, great fitting and great sounding earbuds 3X's as often. Now, if they'd increase the battery life and add a useful app (for maybe 10 bucks more??) they'd have the perfect earbud!

Been rockin with these for two years. The other day the right earbud decided it's had enough of my abuse (dropped it one too many times I suppose), and it's time for a new pair of earbuds. I am a musician and producer (... at an amateur level) and I think I have a decent ear for what sounds good. These earbuds sound great, although I haven't had anything over $100 before. Not too bloated in the lows, not shrill in the highs. Nice smooth mid-range on these, which is not super common in buds at this price. Don't use the ANC a whole lot, but from what I can tell it works decently at low-medium volumes. I have to remember to turn it to normal (no ANC) when I play drums though, because the volume is too high and it clips the mic input, creating weird (and somewhat loud) digital glitches. Battery life is great as well, I just charge them when I think they might be getting low, and I never get the low battery notif. The comfort of these is decent. I have small holes I guess, and the smallest size rubber works fine for me.......... anyway decided to go for these earbuds again!

On top of a 20ish dollar "discount", easily locating a coupon code turned these into sub 60-dollar buds for me. Even for the 80 dollars these supposedly costed at some point, these are the best bang for my buck buds I could possibly ask for. Sound quality was the main draw for me on these, I had seen reviewers unanimously call these among the best with like 10 other pairs sitting on the same table, but i had no clue its gotten this good in the amazon headphone world, quality is in the stratosphere on these! Bass is phenomenal, and gets a pretty good boost using the iPhone's "treble reducer" just from my experience. The bass will not bleed into the mids or make the highs sound tinny like some similarly priced buds with too strong of a marketing pull (ahem Raycon). I didn't think I would utilize noise cancelling much, but it turns out you kind of need ear protection for powerwashing and I do that quite a bit, so this alone made these a godsend. Ambient mode is infrequent since i usually single-bud it when i need to hear, but it does give a convincing effect the few times i do use it. By effect, i mean after a while of not playing anything from the earbuds, you begin to forget you're wearing them. The case that comes with these is ridiculously small and discreet. This is the first case I don't mind pocketing, usually they're too bulbous, namely the galaxy live buds I also used to own (on top of the raycons (bleh)). Battery life on the case is more than substantial. i rotate my buds throughout the day, often times i won't depending on the jobs i do and I can't drain them fully in normal mode since they wind up back in the case, which lasts ridiculously long, i've only fully drained the buds themselves a single time, and i would blame it on noise cancelling during a power wash. Cased them for less than an hour and they were back. The comfort for long sessions is excellent. Find the ideal plug / wingtip size for you, and you'll get comfort for hours. During that aforementioned power wash, I barely touched them for 4 hours straight, and my ears simply did not care. As you can tell by this long winded review, I'm shocked at how good these are for the money. It's impossible to justify big brand 200+ dollar headphones when you have a company that has achieved full wireless earbud perfection for under 60 bucks. Edit: docked a star due to one vital flaw: the touch controls. You can’t lock them, which defeats the purpose of water resistance. The second these are exposed to moist conditions, they’ll mess with your playback and keep activating voice control. It seems to have been fixed with a new app but it’s only available for the free pro 3s.
