    • A GREAT ALL-AROUND set of EARBUDS!
Simply put, these earbuds are OUTSTANDING ALL AROUNDERS! I've listened to and/or have owned around two dozen sets of earbuds, many have been the highest-end sets from the likes of Bose, Sony, Technics, Samsung, Jabra, JBL, Sennheiser, Apple, Soundcore and a few others I can't remember but I've also listened to my share of budget earbuds from Jlab,1more, Tempo, Soundpeats, Soundcore, Earfun and others. While not industry leading in any one category, these Earfun Free Pro 2's have been my greatest discovery of the bunch as they do so many things really well. While I'm not an audiophile, I do enjoy listening to good music through good gear. And while I'm willing to pay a few bucks for a higher-end experience, I also appreciate a bargain. These Earfun Free Pro 2's have provided me with both great sound in a conveniently small and light package at a terrific price point. The earbuds themselves stay put thanks to their rubber fins and diminutive size and feature Bluetooth 5.2; the case is incredibly small, easy to pocket and features a USB-charging port. But it's the sound where these earbuds really shine. While the rich bass and good clarity get most of the headlines, for me, it's the incredible soundstage that really allows the listener to become immersed in the music and sets these earbuds apart from not only it's cheaper brethren but from many of its higher priced competitors as well. It's second best soundstage I've heard with only Soundcore's Liberty Pro 3's offering a better one (and IMHO, the Liberty Pros 3's soundstage is on par with the Bose ANC ). Speaking of ANC, the Earfun's ANC is nothing special, though it does work relatively well (2.5 out of 5 stars) unlike some other cheaper earbuds ANC which doesn't seem to make any discernable difference. Along with a middling battery life of 4 hours with ANC and 6 hours without (also 2.5 out of 5 stars), these last two features are the weak links to an otherwise incredible package. Thankfully, I don't find myself listening to music for 3 or 4 hours straight very often so the battery limitation doesn't bother too much especially since the case itself offers over 20+ hours of recharging capability. Finally, while I turn to my Bose, Sennheiser's and Soundcore's periodically, as each offers certain qualities I really enjoy, I turn to these smaller, lighter, great fitting and great sounding earbuds 3X's as often. Now, if they'd increase the battery life and add a useful app (for maybe 10 bucks more??) they'd have the perfect earbud! ... show more

    • Good headphones, perfect fit, worth the price.
To preface, I've tried several inexpensive True Wireless buds from Amazon. Most ranging from $20 - $40. My general issue with them is either: A) They sound horrible B) They don't fit well while running C) They break or stop connecting So far, these Earfun buds have leave all those boxes unchecked - which is great! They sound good. I wouldn't say they sound GREAT, but they sound good. The Tozo T10s sound better in my opinion, but these do have a balanced soundscape that doesn't hide behind too much Bass like other inexpensive buds. The noise reduction is OK. Honestly it's hard to tell when it's on or off - there's very little difference. You also need the left earbud in to activate/deactivate, since the toggle requires to hold the left bud for 2 seconds. The fit is PERFECT. These fit better than any other buds I've worn. I run 25-35 miles per week and one issue I've found is a lot of buds fall out too easily (which is the downfall of the Tozo T10s), stick out too much so that it's uncomfortable to wear anything over your ears like a headband/sock hat, or they have a hook that causes some excess noise or flopping. These latched into my ear perfectly out-of-the-box and sit flush with my outer ear, so I can wear something over the top without it interfering. Definitely the best fit I've had with buds. Battery life is fine. I don't really need a million hours of battery. I charge the case about once a week and that's good. The buds themselves I use for no more than 3 hours at a time and they've never gone below 50%. The case is TINY! Again, I've used lots of buds and have never seen such a tiny case for them. It's like a roll of Rolaids. I love that it fits so much easier in my pocket. All in all, I give it 4*. The sound quality is above average but I've heard better on cheaper buds, and the noise cancelling isn't very noticeable. Other than that, these are incredible buds and are worth the slight premium over other "budget" true wireless buds. ... show more
