The installation process and the outcome are both awesome! I really like this protector! The reason I chose this particular one is because it was the only one I found that had all the good qualities: moisture & oil resistance (fingerprints), anti-glare coating, was the thinnest I found (0.26 mm), self-grabbing adhesive, and hinges for easier installation. Other brands had a couple of these qualities, but not all together. I bought a 2 pack and installed both (on separate devices). I was a bit worried, having had problems with phone protectors in the past, and no experience with tablet-size protectors at all. I found that the application process was easier than I anticipated. I could have installed it with the included directions alone, but did watch a couple of the videos, as recommended by other buyers, which probably did help. I installed these using a bright task light directly overhead, which was great for showing up the dust (and I don't care how clean you think your house is, dust is floating in the air). I did turn off the A/C and the ceiling fan and let the dust settle for a while before getting started. The included dust-collecting squares did a great job, and I recommend that you use it again just after peeling the film and before dropping the protector in place, as I did get some little pieces of dust that were clinging to the film that then transferred to the device while doing the initial positioning and application of the hinges (this was due to some static electricity...I also learned the hard way that those dust squares are not for use on the peel-off film--it will stay stuck! Only use the squares on the tablet itself!) I loved having the hinges! The first install went off without a hitch, and they were a lifesaver. The second time, two of the three hinges came loose from the protector as I was pulling the peel-off film from the protector, and I couldn't get the two positioned in the same place again without risking putting my fingers on the sticky side, so I moved them out of the way and had to hand-direct the protector onto the device while using the remaining hinge, but it went O.K. As for bubbles, I had two or three, but was able to push them out to the edges with the enclosed card and cloth, and get rid of them. There were also a few very tiny bubbles, but getting rid of them out was easy...they basically were just "absorbed" with a little pressure, and disappeared! I was really amazed at the way the adhesive grabs from the center and expands to the edges!!! My advice: only touch the protector ONCE in the center with ONE finger for ONE point of contact when you install, and let it do the rest! Do not move your finger in order to "help" it stick, or it will trap bubbles. That's how I got some of them. I highly recommend these protectors. Once installed, the clarity is amazing! You cannot tell they are there. The touch screen works just as it did before; I can tell no difference. This is truly a superior product that I would buy again! ... show more

This is a phenomenal product, which I purchased for my Kindle Fire HD 10. Installed carefully and correctly, you cannot tell that it is there unless you look really closely. This screen protector is as clear as can be, enough to be invisible. It does not feel any different to the bare screen, and I have not experienced any difference or deterioration in screen sensitivity. Everything works as if the screen protector was not there. The package contains everything you need for a perfect installation, plus an extra protector in case things go wrong the first time. Please note, though, you MUST READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER. Wash your hands thoroughly (I don't recommend using surgical gloves, as I saw in one review). Then position the screen protector with the provided tape "hinges". By the way, these hinges are a brilliant idea, because they enable you to pre-position the protector until you are ready, at which time it's a breeze to swing it over onto the screen in exactly the right place. Make sure the protective film is on the underside of the of protector when you pre-position it with the hinges. Clean the screen thoroughly as you would normally, and then clean it with the provided wet wipe; finish with the provided dry wipe, and then use the dust remover. Don't make the mistake i made with the dust remover - I wiped it over the screen, but it streaked and I had to clean the screen all over again. You are supposed to dab with the dust remover, not wipe! Finally, polish with the provided micro fiber cloth. Immediately peel off the protective film and carefully swing the protector over into the screen. You will see the air flowing out by itself, but you can help it along with the provided bubble remover. There, you are all done! I did as described above and got a perfect installation, with no bubbles or dust. I am really pleased with the result, and have this great feeling that my Kindle screen is well protected. Not my first rodeo as far as installing a tempered glass screen protector on a tablet or smart phone. I've used many different brands though I've always been partial to ZAGG, however, I figured I'd give OMOTON a try. The method OMOTON uses to help align the screen protector is relatively novel and works ok, but I prefer ZAGG's install tabs on diagonal corners, but that's entirely subjective preference (mine) and OMOTON's method (using 2-3 included stickers on 1 side to create a hinge for alignment) works as well and I had a relatively quick and smooth install with no bubbles. The Fire HD 10 Kids Screen Protector went on with no problems at all, the Fire HD 8 Kids didn't quite go on as smoothly and it cracked, HOWEVER, OMOTON's customer service is very good and responds quickly to support request emails. They were very easy to deal with and were more than happy to send me a replacement free of charge for my troubles to make it right. I'm satisfied with my purchase. My only feedback to them to improve their product would be to put a camera hole/cutout on the screen protector for the Fire HD 8 like they did on the Fire HD 10, it makes forward facing camera clarity better and makes aligning the screen protector during installation DRAMATICALLY easier. All in all a solid product from a good company who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. ... show more
