At $18, Five Stars, at $30+, Four Stars. I have used these for about 50 hours of listening to hip hop, electronica, and dialog streamed from my iPhone 16 and Windows 10 laptop. I have recent experience with Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Skullcandy Sesh earbuds. Regardless of price, these earbuds have better sound quality than both of the other earbuds mentioned above. Specifically, the frequency range, especially bass below 80 Hz is wider than the other earbuds. Although these don't have deep, teeth rattling bass, I can at least hear subwoofer-range notes, which are totally missing from my Samsung and Skullcandy earbuds. Paired with third party generic replacement foam ear tips, the bass is highly improved and make these buds truly shine. The build quality is on par with my Samsung and Skullcandy buds. The case is sturdy, has a nice rubberized texture, and has the perfect balance of staying closed but are easily opened. I'd say they feel higher quality than my more expensive Samsungs and comparably priced Skullcandy buds. There are three different tip sizes, and I use the largest, which is consistent with other brands I've used. The tips are lightweight, soft latex-like rubber which anchor the buds securely in the ears. As previously mentioned though, getting a set of foam tips does wonders for the bass (but may fatigue the ear canal compared to the very comfortable included soft rubber tips which can be worn for long periods with no issue). Capable of high volume without noticeable distortion. Using the right size tips will really influence this. Charge time is fast - I didn't time it, but from almost completely discharged, after leaving it charging for three hours, these were fully charged. I don't know what the standby and use time is, as the longest I've used them are for about five hours of listening over a eight hour stretch without charging, and they were still good to go at the end of my day. The sound cancelling seems to work ok as does the pass-through/amplified ambient sound. For under $20, no need to look further, I'd snap these up in a heartbeat. But, for over $30, I'd say there are some minor annoyances that would have me doing a little comparison shopping even though I may very well still end up with these. First, I looked extensively and could not find any markings for left and right anywhere on the earbuds or the case- if I pull them out and set them down I really have to think which bud goes in which ear. A simple "L" and "R" would help so much. There's no external app which is good because you don't need to worry about compatibility with your source or running a separate app for your buds. On the other hand, not having an accompanying app really limits the amount of control over the sound and as I'll further explain, changing settings often feels like shooting in the dark. There's two main sound modes - balanced and bass which are selected with a long press on the left bud. The selection is a little sensitive and I almost always change the setting just by pushing the plugs in my ears - at least there's an audible announcement of which mode it's in. Long-pressing the right bud cycles noise cancelling, ambient sound amplification, and off/passive. I dislike this feature the most because each mode is identified by a series of beeps. I'm still not completely convinced I know what mode the different beeps represent. Volume and forward/back skip can also be controlled by tapping the buds. The microphone is excellent as is the connection with my phone. Whenever I use my other buds on a call I frequently get complaints from the person on the other end of the call. I've made roughly a dozen calls with these and have received zero negative comments. Just clear and crisp communication. Pairing with my iPhone and Windows laptop were a breeze and follow simple bluetooth protocol. I will be reaching for these over my other buds and have no desire to search for something better - especially since I've added foam tips. The packaging is nice enough to gift without wrapping, although it's pretty basic and bland.

The speed with which Bluetooth earbuds have evolved over the past few years is amazing, and features that were once limited to premium buds have trickled down into mid tier and budget buds. In the case of these buds, they offer very good sound, pretty good noise canceling, a clear sounding transparency mode, multipoint connect, but sadly, no app support, and it would really make a difference with these. The EQ setting "Tree balance" (that's how the voice prompt says it) is to me, a muddled mess. The mids and highs are pushed way down. Not a good sound. On the other hand, "Tree bass" restores the mids and highs, and provides great bass without distortion. Set that way, these are quite good sounding. I guess my point is that an app with a multi-band EQ would really let you tune these to your preference. What sounds good to me, might not be what you like, so yes, again, it's a shame there's no app support. Otherwise, I like that they're very easy to remove from the case, and the sound with both music and calls, is good to my ears. I use the largest of the ear tips provided (only small, medium and large), and get a good seal. They don't sit super deep in my ears, which is good for extended listening comfort. The case is an acceptable size (not super chunky), and the hinged lid will stay open securely enough to get the buds out, but also easily closes. To sum it up, I'd pick these up if they're on sale, but at the normal price, there are a million options from brands like EarFun, Soundcore, Tozo, Soundpeats, etc, that offer app support (good for updating the buds via firmware too), and sound as good or better than these. If I had to throw another $10-$20 at one of those options, I'd consider it worth it. But, on the other hand, If you see these with a coupon code or on sale, you certainly wouldn't regret getting them.

Pros: - Amazing sound quality. Powerful bass. Listening to Ozzy on Spotify, it sounds like I'm in an arena. - Even better sound quality than my over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones which sold for a price comparable to this product. - The charging case is brilliantly designed. It snaps open but gently wants to close itself. The magnets direct each airbud to its charging position. - During my walk/jog, the earbuds never got loose or fell out and I'm someone who's had a horrible time with numerous other earbuds in the past. This is something I'm overjoyed about because this is a make or break for this kind of product. - Connected to Bluetooth on my phone immediately and never disconnected. Audio quality was perfect the whole time. Cons: - This product has great attention to detail EXCEPT with the Chinglish translations. For some strange reason, the manufacturer named them "Airdopes 73". LOL. - For dual EQ modes, after holding the left earbud for two seconds, the voice sounds like it's saying "tree bass" and "true balance". The instruction manual doesn't tell you what this means exactly. I guess "tree bass" is bass mode and "true balance" is balance mode? - Same deal with "mode switching" (ANC, NORMAL, TRANSPARENCY). It seems like there are three modes for noise cancellation from "no noise cancellation", to "some noise cancellation", then "max noise cancellation". There's no voice that tells you which one you're now on after it changing it and it makes no sense why there are only two different ding sounds when there are three modes. The noise cancellation does work well though (I can barely hear the AC fan with it on.) Overall: if you can overlook the translation and voice menu issues, buying these earbuds is an easy decision.
