I purchased the traditional ear bud, then one of our neighbors lost an earbud in the street one day and never found it. My husband bought a set like this in another color with the hook around the ear. He told me that he liked that if he tied his shoe or looked down, they stayed in place, so I bought this set. The color is pink, and although I am not a pink or purple fan, I find the shade pleasant to the eye. The buds are comfortable in my ear and stay in place until I'm ready to remove them. That's saying a lot, because I find most earphones hurt my ears or simply fail to stay in, as I have a small ear. I'm not a big techie nor can I tell whether the quality of sound is better or worse between one item or another. What I can tell you is that the quality doesn't suffer when I increase the volume. There is no static, no breaks in audio. These have taken a lot of abuse. I haven't used them in quite a while, but the battery indicator on the case still reads 96%. I can wear these while I clean house, and the battery seems to last all day when fully charged. As far as the buttons on the buds, it has one to turn them on and another to increase and decrease the volume. My old ones have a button to advance the song, but it is too complicated to use. These have a very simple system, and I like them. I highly recommend purchasing these.

Let me break it up to you this way: CONNECTIVITY It features lightning-speed connection. No kidding; I’ve never seeing anything like this. As soon as I pull the earplug from its case (just a touch, a little pull), the music stops playing in my phone. At first, I am like, “Whoa! What’s going on here? What’s wrong? Why my music stopped playing?” Then I realize…it’s already connected ! I think “at this speed you’re gonna pull an electronic hammy, partner!” It connects within a literal half a second! Never seen anything like this! I’ve needed time to get used to this unusually fast connectivity. SOUND What I love about sound? One word: THE BASS! It sounds like the frigging $500-In-Ear Headphones my son bought a year ago! A CAVEAT (always a catch, huh?!), if you want more… Like anything good, depending on how demanding is your personal taste for sound quality, you may have to put a little work into it. I am a drummer, so, yes, I NEED TO HEAR THAT BASS. What works for me? Number one: I use an app with equalizer to enhance my music; always have. It allows me to CREATE and save the settings I want and pick the best for whatever I am playing at the moment ( or just set one as primary for all my music). Number two (not THAT number 2!): the in-ear PAD factor. I experimented with different sizes and models of PADS, and I mean DIFFERENT from the ones they have to offer…call it nitpicking. That’s me; but, disclaimer, you MAY BE FULLY SATISFIED (as I was at the beginning) with one of the three different sizes of in-ear pads that come with this product! For me, a pair of spongy pads I already had got me; I feel they get me (and keep me) closer to the music to savor the QUALITY DEFINITION this set has to offer. Once you get the right size for you, you’ll notice It absolutely kills ANY outside NOISE, even at lower volumes. MATTER OF HEALTH, as well(?!) Personally, it’s matter of health, too! Yep, I sleep with one of these suckers in my ear while I listen to white noise or other background sound or sound combinations to help me relax and sleep better! Results? Something I wasn’t expecting: I recently got one of the highest numbers I’ve ever had in sleep quality by my intelligent mattress App. Probably NOT a coincidence… I know that in several occasions, I’ve felt more rested in the am! I just couldn’t put my finger on it. This could be the difference maker! AWESOME BATTERY LIFE. You probably won’t have to recharge them in…mmh, two, three weeks? NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU USE THEM. That’s my estimate based on facts like, if I sleep for 8hrs with one or both of them on during the whole sleep session and in the morning I see it/them have only dropped 4-5 numbers (gone from 100 down to 95) my conclusion is: THIS IS GONNA TAKE EONS TO DISCHARGE. Love them (especially at the asked price!). Lastly, as a PHONE, I feel people can hear me well, and I surely can hear their voices with great acoustic resolution! I found that sleeping with earbuds is needed to distract my spouses snoring, but they have to last through the night, they must be comfortable, and not fall out of my ears in bed. I have tried all kinds of earbuds, for over 10 years, from wired, to wireless (with a cord in between) to ones similar to these, and either the cord disconnected, or they fell out while sleeping, or the battery didn't last through the night, or I couldn't sleep on my side, because of the pressure pain they caused on my ears. I've even tried the cloth headband earphones, specifically designed for sleeping, but would wake up with a big red mark on my forehead, that wouldn't go away for several hours (right where they put the battery and controls). That design was too hot for sleeping anyway. Well I'm very happy to say, these excellent earbuds have finally met my needs. They have Never died on me, and have lasted over 10 hours on a single charge so far, and they are such a small form factor, that there is no ear pain what so ever (even while lying on my side). They are extremely comfortable, and fit perfectly over my ear, so they don't fall off while sleeping. My previous brand was similar in design, but way too big (causing ear pain), and the big buttons on the sides would often inadvertently get pressed, stopping the playback. These earbuds have the on-off button strategically placed on the back of each earbud (volume and channel buttons are on the top of each), so they Never get inadvertently pressed while lying on them. These are a great design and form factor in a small comfortable package. The sound quality is perfect too, and it is so good that snoring no longer bothers me, and I have been sleeping Great!. I can even walk over 30 feet away from my phone, with these earbuds and the Bluetooth Never loses its signal. I'm so glad I found these earbuds, they are fantastic, and I now finally get a good night's sleep!

These earbuds are amazing! I used them while working in an ice packing factory, and they were a lifesaver. The sound quality is excellent, and the noise-canceling feature helps block out the surrounding noise, allowing me to focus on my tasks or enjoy my music. The battery life is impressive; they never died during my shifts, providing continuous entertainment throughout the day. They're also comfortable to wear for extended periods and stay securely in place.
