Works great once installed and everything adjusted the way I wanted. No issues with slowness although I'm sure the more expensive models are faster. Love the buttons and volume know. Installed in a 2000 Tundra, routed the usb for car play into my ashtray. I can adjust it some left/right and lean back/forward but the 1st Gen tundra doesn't leave much room for that. Took some drilling of the mounting plates to get it in the right position but happy how it came out.

Pretty good unit for the most part, but there are some software issues. The display is clear and bright and swivels up, down, left, and right. Others have said that the display is not removable, but it is. You must forcefully slide the screen up off the top of the adjusting track after popping the ribbon cable out. This is for installation, not everyday removal. Wireless Android Auto is working fine for me. The two trouble areas are software and manuals. The software is missing some apps that are called out in the manual. In particular, an app called "Aux" is not installed. That app allows you to feed audio into the RCA Auxilliary jack. The other main software issue is that the normal Bluetooth connection page is missing so you cannot connect other Bluetooth devices except your phone, such as an OBD2 device. The manuals are better than most Asian manuals, but still lacking. There is very little help on setting up all the parameters. It can also take a while to figure out what some parts of the manual are trying to say. Update: Aux function does work but you have to go into factory settings and turn off "Front view" first.

GPS will not work, Slooooow processor. I love the footprint, and the capabilities, but it's just not worth it. Support tried to help, but all they know how to do is firmware updates which caused more issues. I suspect something wrong with the GPS com port on this model. Two identical radios, exact same failures. Also had Bluetooth connect issues with OBD2 devices. Oh well.... Bought a different model from a different vendor: The GPS and Bluetooth works perfectly. Everything connecting and working. These Chinese radios do not even have model numbers, so hard to tell you which ones are defective.

So the radio itself is amazing! However, since the screen isn’t removable, I had to unscrew all of the little screws behind the screen itself to take it off. To do it, I had to hold a drill head Phillips with needle nose pliers to get to it. I ended up taking out the spring, slipping the dash kit over, and tediously screwing all the screws back in. And now it looks so pretty! I also had to get a PAC canbus. Works fine but my backup camera doesn’t have dynamic lines anymore, even when I enable it 😔

It works but will cut out or drop communications sometimes, occasionally screen touch doesn’t work and will shut down all randomly. The wireless car play works, music plays sometimes and gps and everything works. Just when it wants to or for how long it wants to. but when it wants to is the thing. It’s never consistent and totally messes up good songs. Thought it would have been cool but it’s just another waisted purchase.

I was initially impressed with this stereo and excited to have Carplay in my Scion tC. After a significant amount of work trying to determine if my wiring was faulty for a backup camera, I found out that the backup camera connection itself was faulty on the stereo, and it doesn't work well. I was willing to overlook the somewhat laggy interface, clunky bluetooth, and nonfunctional GPS in exchange for carplay, but the lack of a backup camera ruins this product for me.

This unit offers a massive screen and many great features for a small price. It can pretty much transform the interior of an older car and offer all the latest infotainment features that modern cars come with like a touch screen, backup camera, Android Auto and Apple Carplay. In my testing the unit booted pretty quickly and after the initial connection setup, it reconnected quickly most of the time. In times that it would not, I just turned off bluetooth then turned it back on again. It has the usual Android issues. I wish had been a Linux based unit. Sound quality is very good considering this is an off brand. It greatly improved both the volume and quality of the sound produced by the cars existing speakers. Note, special care should be taken when considering this style of unit. While it will fit in a single DIN slot, the screen is much larger and will overlap the surrounding area. This may block things like vents or heater controls. Also, like with any aftermarket stereo, it may be necessary to purchase a dash mounting kit and/or a vehicle specific wiring harness, so you don't have to cut any of your vehicles wiring. Both are inexpensive items and again, are necessary for the proper installation any aftermarket stereo, not just this one.
