While most of the world has moved to Bluetooth (or at least, USB-C connections), my dad is still using a headphone jack with his phone. His last pair of headphones recently bit the dust, and because it was (I'm sure) at least partly due to my kids pulling on the cords while he was listening to his podcasts, I figured I'd better get him a new set! These headphones appealed right away because of a few things: 1. They are magnetic, so they can sit attached around your neck if you aren't listening through them at the moment. 2. They are not obnoxiously brightly colored, but they do stand out amongst the rest of the black cords that tend to be tangled about, making it easy to find them. 3. They come with a variety of ear bud sizes, as not every ear canal will fit the larger ones. 4. The end that plugs into the phone is slim, which means that it can connect securely even while the phone case is on. Once they arrrived, I tested them out for sound quality and comfort. I listened to a song by an acapella group to see if I could distinguish all of the ranges, and they came through beautifully. The noise-canceling function is pretty impressive for this kind of headphones, too. It even came with a little zippered case that will help keep them safe. These are a great option for simple, straightforward listening!

I bought an inexpensive pair of wireless earbuds a while back that didn't hold a charge for long. Then I used the dinky, freebie wired earbuds from the library, but the cord was pretty dinky, and it didn't take long for them to stop working. I wanted something wired but better quality, so I ordered these. So far so good. Can't speak for their long-term durability, but the woven cord is certainly thick and looks durable. The piece that goes into your ear is set at an angle, which is different from what I'm used to but doesn't really make a difference. I like that the earbuds themselves are magnetic and stick together to help keep them from getting tangled. The little zippered case is nice and includes different size rubbery tips for the earbuds. As far as sound quality goes, I'm probably not the best person to ask. They seem to cancel noise well, and the sound is clear...but I'm listening to audiobooks, not music, so it would take something pretty dramatic for the sound quality to be "bad". I also don't use them for phone calls and such, but if I did, I'd think it would be easier to use if the built-in control for that was a bit lower down the cord. I can't get a good look at the buttons while the earbuds are still in my ears because the control is just too close up to the earpiece to be able to get it in front of my face to look at it.

This set of wired earbuds is a good choice. The two most important issues for me are comfort and sound quality. This set does a good job in both areas. They are comfortable to wear, and they don’t fall out. There is nothing more annoying than always having to fiddle with earbuds to get them settled and secure. These come with a variety of sizes of ear tips so you can customize them for the perfect fit. That helps a lot. This set of wired earbuds is built well. The cord is strong and still supple, so it isn’t pulling on the earbuds. The 3.5mm jack fits just right and the controller does a good job. I really like that it comes with a storage case for protection when not in use. At this price point, it is a very good value.

I chose this wired earbuds because they are convenient and practical. Reliable and durable. There are no battery concerns. Simple to use and connect. Has a 3.5mm Jack. The standard connection for my laptop, tablet, and MP3 player. Delivers clear, neutral audio with good separation between channels. Perfect for phone calls or listening to podcasts. Not so good for music. The bass is not strong enough.

I use these earphones at night to help me sleep. I either listen to white noise or ambient music. Most of the time I am awoken by outside noises, like my dog walking into my room, etc. Not with these. They fit my ear canal perfectly, keeping my music in and outside sounds out. Comfy to wear, and the cord is long enough I'm not getting tangled in it while sleeping.

The sound quality is decent,I haven't had any complaints about fhe quality of the mic on calls but something just isn't there. Maybe if the cord was longer I'd like it more. It comes with a carrying case which is nice and the earbuds are magnetic which kind of makes storage easy. They're not perfect, but good for what they are.

I don't like wireless ear buds because the reception always seems to go in and out. These are very nice earbuds. They come with a little case, I like the cord that is wrapped, the buds are magnetized, which is interesting...I'm not sure why, and I can hear very clearly without any signal dropping. They are a nice, simple set.
