I got this keyboard to use while temporarily working from a different location for a couple weeks. The keys depress minimally compared to a standard keyboard, which took a little getting used to. Unfortunately the Caps Lock and Num Lock lights don't work. But otherwise, it functions well as a basic keyboard and was very quiet when typing, so I would have been happy to continue using this keyboard for longer term. For the price point, it seems to have good value, and I'm glad to have gotten it.

Very good and practical desktop keyboard

So, I tend to use the Manufacturer supplied keyboards with most of my computers; in some cases there are some added buttons or functions, but, in most cases (at least for the big manufacturers), they seem to give you a pretty good keyboard simply because it's one of the main things you use, and thus impacts your perception of the unit as a whole (same with the supplied mice.) Sadly, my main HP one recently died; the wiring eventually started to suffer from metal-fatigue (I type in a recliner, with my keyboard on a pillow in my lap), and I needed to replace it. This one is what I replaced it with. It's a fairly standard keyboard with Numeric keypad. It's not the 'clicky' type, if you like those, but after typing for so many years, I really don't need that additional feedback, so it's no loss to me, having it be a 'mute' keyboard. The little home key tactile bumps (look on you F and J keys, if you aren't familiar with them -- they let you know where you are on the keyboard when you aren't looking; home-keys to those of us who got stuck taking typing lessons, decades ago) and a bit less noticeable, but are still present. The biggest headache, to me, is that the Pipe/Backslash button is in a slightly different position than I'm used to -- but that's pretty easy to get over. It also has the usual Caps/Scroll/Numlock indicators, but they are fairly faint.) Overall, it's basically 10 bucks for a waterproof keyboard that works as expected -- I'm quite satisfied with it.

I use a PC for my work computer and the old keyboard was wearing out. Pros: Very quiet, long cord, lightweight. Cons: The lights for scroll, number, and caps lock aren't visible if the keyboard is flat so I have to be a little extra careful. The keyboard has a sort of monochrome checkerboard design that's part shiny and part matte that I find aesthetically pleasant. The numbers and letter stickers on the keys are slightly shiny and stand out a bit. The enter key is a bit different from my previous keyboard and it took a week or so for me to get used to that. Overall this is a great solution if you need a wired keyboard and don't want to spend a ton of money. It is as quiet as possible, looks nice, and won't break the bank.

This works well but it's likely getting replaced ASAP. It's really very annoying that they have chosen to add a key in a place where it doesn't normally belong. On the middle line where you normally keep your fingers (if you've been taught to type properly!!), there should be the jkl;' characters, then the Enter button. However, they've chosen to add the \ key next to the ', BEFORE the Enter key. I'm not used to the reach to get to the Enter button so keep accidentally inserting a \ in everything. It's quite annoying and not sure why they would do this. Maybe just made in a foreign country and they failed to notice that is the wrong place for that key.

This USB keyboard has what I needed. It has old, raised buttons, not those flat, laptop ones. It has the number keypad on the far right and the keys in the middle. It also has the old-school "enter" key how I like it. My fingers can always easily find that key. It also has the raisable "feet". It does have everything I need and most of what I desire. I'd prefer it if it had multimedia keys to control volume, etc., but that's okay. It's also got an ugly design, IMO, but I'm not looking at it when I'm typing usually, so that's okay, too. If this company makes an upgraded version of this keyboard with multimedia keys and different colors to choose from, I'll definitely buy it, especially if it's only a dollar or two more than this one.
