(Aug 3, 2025) I give this desk five stars - it is what it promises to be. Things to be aware of: The box is very heavy, and it would be good to have a partner help to get it into the house. Be sure to inventory all of the parts, if any are missing the company has excellent customer service. Generally the pieces (save for one cam) fit well, though some of the small pre-drilled holes scarcely penetrate the melamine, and I highly recommend that you have an awl handy to make a start for the self-tapping screws. I urge you to assemble as much as you can of it on a table or workbench, it’s better than bending over and wrestling with the pieces on the floor. A screwdriver is included, but I suggest that you have a larger one nearby, as it’ll be easier to grip than the pee-wee that comes with the desk. You have to constantly second-guess the assembly instructions as they are often mis-drawn, and you can end up having to do a lot of work over again. I was able to avoid this simply by comparing each piece to the directions, and allowing for the incorrect drawings – the point is, go slow, and fit everything before you bolt it down. I’m very happy with the finished product; it'll make the perfect hobby desk for paints, brushes, tools, and airbrush gear. Just finished putting my desk together and I love. It's well put together and sturdy. The directions were hard to get started with but I'm 72 and was able to put it together all by myself. This is definitely worth the price.

I am not a handy person at all. I assembled this desk by myself over the course of three days (hand fatigue) and took about 4.5hrs total. I give four stars because the assembly instructions for the drawer slides are terrible and those are the first steps. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out which part goes where. Since there are so many slides I labeled them with a permanent marker to keep myself from getting confused as I went along. Also, pay attention when using the cam locks. There are two different types. At the end, I was able to slide the drawers in all the way. Desk is great for small area and there’s a hole you can put cords through. ... show more

This desk is perfect for small spaces and there is plenty of room… 4 drawers and one is really deep to be a file drawer if you want. Top shelf to hold books etc and even a shelf underneath to store more books or whatever. It does require someone handy to put it together … several hours required

This desk is cheaply made. The drawer has already broken. The desk is shorter than expected. I would not purchase this desk again. The seller reached out to me and said they would give me a full refund. Yet, they never did and they kept emailing me asking for more information. I provided a picture of where the desk drawer is being held together by tape. Don't order this desk. I hate when I get hassled for over cheap products and can't get refunded.
