These are perfect for under dresses for work so that my thighs don't rub together when I walk. (I've given this a lot of thought and, at 42, I'm done pretending it doesn't happen.) I've purchased two packs so far. They're comfortable, a good length (on me), and lightweight, but thick enough that if (for example) I trip over a crack in the sidewalk that I use literally five days a week and my dress flips up when I land flat on my face, I'm not flashing my underwear to the world. I ordered 3XL. I'm 5'6", 250lb, 55" hips, 44" waist. They're fitted without being tight or uncomfortable, have lots of stretch and flexibility, and I think the 4XL would've been a tad too big, even though that's what I should've ordered based on the size chart.

There is nothing I don't like about these ! Well, maybe the length, I like mine just a tad shorter. What drew me to these were the colors. Almost all the other brands that carry this type of shorts, in the "plus" size category, only offer black, navy blue or that awful skin tone beige. Seriously, black and navy blue doesn't go with everything. Sizing is perfect, they pull up comfortably to the waistline, and not binding. The fabric is very soft and not thin. They're really nice. Would definitely recommend !

Just came back from a 2 week trip to Europe. I really have a chafing problem since I gained weight a few years back. I CANNOT wear dresses without shorts. I bought these because I was looking for something more breathable than the athletic bike shorts I own. Summer in Texas is very hot and humid and the synthetic fabrics were causing me to break out in rashes (not chub rub) in the strangest places due to trapped moisture. I bought these right before a trip to Europe where I planned to do a lot of walking. I LOVE THEM. No rashes, no chub rub, no discomfort because the band is too tight, and they stayed put (mostly; I’m tall so occasionally I had to pull the legs down a bit, but less often than all my other shorts). I averaged 7-9 miles a day over two weeks and my legs have never been comfier or happier. Ditch the synthetics, get these. I was so happy I ordered a second set while still on my trip.

Survives washing machine and dryer just fine on cold. Notice: shorter than expected. Short like, shorter than boy boxers, yet tall and comes up the bellybutton. Perfect for under short skirts. Just fits differently. The SIZE is as it says. Correct color. No bad smell. No stains. Did not realize there was a tag sewn into place and seams that can leave marks. Kind of hide stomach to smooth out fat as well. Good item.

I’m 5’3” 265lbs w/ full hips & thick thighs so I bought a 4x. They fit prefectly not too snug or loose. They are made of a lightweight soft material that is quite breathable. The inner thigh seams are u-shaped so no chaffing or irritation. The length is great too, about 2” above my knee and they don’t ride up. I love the colors they came in and can easily match the dresses I wear them with.

I never purchased anything like these before. However, thanks to Fibromyalgia, my skin just keeps getting more sensitive. Clothing hurts! I find these to be so comfortable, but I do wish they had a more reinforced crotch area. I wash them in a laundry bag and hang them to dry. I just prefer it. Very happy with my comfort with these. I bought the more skin toned/bigger ones, too. I would, and did, buy them again.

I agree with the other reviewers that ordered one size up from their usual. I would normally order a 2x. I don't carry most of my weight in my waist, but even the 3x waistband is more snug than I would like. everywhere else they are comfortably loose but not baggy. The waistband has serious elastic in it, not wimpy, so if you're using these as underwear I can see how that's a good thing. However, I bought these to lounge in like a pair of biker shorts. I hate synthetic fabrics and I don't like feeling like I'm wearing a sausage casing like regular bike shorts. These were almost perfect for my purposes. I love that the fabric is mostly cotton and is very soft and stretchy. I also like that the fabric is thin, but not see through (I bought the black) since I'm prone to being hot. I could comfortably wear these as underwear under a dress or jeans. The offset gusset along the interior of the legs and crotch is way more comfortable than the usual standard seam that you get with most things- you don't notice it at all and there's nothing to irritate your skin. I would say these definitely fit small. The 2x would have been way too tight in the waist and skin tight everywhere else, probably uncomfortably so. I would advise to order up one size if you are curvy or plus sized. I hope the waistband loosens up a bit with time. Overall these are great and I'm happy with them.
