I have 2 Very Aggressive Chewers—a 2 yr 80 lbs. Pit Mix & a 10 mos., 75 lbs. Gt. Pyrenees/Lab Mix! Both Sweet Rescues who act like Crazy Teenage Boys romping, playing & Chewing! After Numerous Destroyed Toys, Monthly 4pk Benebone deliveries that are each destroyed in a day (but boy do they Love those!), I decided to give this Shark Toy a try. I bought 1, along with a bunch of other toys/chews, all delivered together. Imagine our Shock when the box was opened (they get SO Excited when boxes are delivered & I say the Magic Word, “Packages!”! LOL!) & BOTH of them Immediately tried to grab the Shark Toy, Ignoring All the Others! The other toys were a preferred variety of hard chew toys (similar to the shark), plushies, ropes & squeaky tennis balls! Turns out, our “Boys” fought (not in a mean way!) over that Darn Shark Toy!! I ended up ordering another 1 right away with FAST delivery! When the 2nd one arrived, they both went Insane with Joy, Again! We’d Never seen them go So Crazy over Any Toy or Chew! The even Nicer Thing was that despite almost Constant Chewing for 2 days straight, & consistent chewing for Weeks after that, both toys lasted Months! We were Astounded! Btw, we Are the people who supervise chewing/playing times & remove items that appear even close to being moderately chewed (just for safety’s sake!). These sharks have the hardest bodies & especially the end areas, where our dogs specifically like to chew. I was unable to squeak both sharks, despite solid efforts (& I’m not at all wimpy!)! My husband, a carpenter, was surprised at how difficult it was to get the sharks to squeak, too! We thought the toys just had weak squeakers, or were faulty, Until our “Boys” Joyfully jumped around Squeaking the Sharks EASILY & LOUDLY!! These toys are Definitely for Lg Very Aggressive Chewers with Powerful Jaws (our 3 smaller dogs, ranging from 5-50 lbs., didn’t even mess with these Sharks after an initial quick chew attempt)! Will Most Definitely Buy More! Great Chew, Great Fun, Great Value!

I bought a few different tough toys for my boy and this one is by far is favorite! We’ve had it for about a week so far and it’s held up really well! Typically he destroys any and every toy up the same day I give it to him. The ends of it are a tough plastic while the middle part is rubber. The toy does have a squeaker, but it’s pretty difficult to actually make noise. But nonetheless, my dog still loves it!

Good, durable product. Because of the wide middle, it's a good pick for those bigger breeds with a big gape. My 6 month old will play if I prompt him to bite the narrower end but won't be his first choice. Still, a good product that keeps him busy, not bored. Love that this line of toys DONT have stuffing or bits of plastic/fabric that just gets torn apart and left all over the floor.

This is the perfect inexpensive toy for an aggressive chewer. We are 3 weeks in and still going strong. The soft squeaker part seems impenetrable for my doggo, not from lack of trying. The face and tail are a tougher plastic that she has gnawed furiously but it is still intact. Great buy. Will buy again when she finally destroys this one.

I got one of these for my Boston Terriers. They're not very big dogs. This toy is on the large size and is heavy. I thought the body of the toy would bend, making it easier for the dogs to play with. It doesn't bend. It is one solid piece. That said, the dogs like to play with it and chew it, even though my smaller dog has a bit of trouble with the size of the toy.

My dog is a chewer and this has held up over 3-4 months; however it is very hard and when she drops it on the floor it can scratch my hard wood flooring. It’s very heavy for a dog toy which makes me concerned it’s too hard for chewing. We watch her closely with this toy, it’s like a very hard resin/plastic. If she drops it on your toe, watch out!

I volunteer for a dog rescue and we have one dog, Oslo, who is one of my favorites, but he has a basketball sized head and jaws to match. He destroys everything, but absolutely loves toys. If he doesn't have a toy he destroys his dog house. I have tried any number of other toys, all of which last hours. I gave him the blue shark yesterday and he immediately started playing with it. For hours I could hear him squeaking that thing and just totally immersed. I checked and he was huddled in his dog house chewing on his new toy again today, the toy is still intact. This might be a new record for Oslo. I am not sure how long the toy will last, but more than 24 hours is pretty impressive for him. I wish they sold these in bulk so that I could give them to more of the dogs at the rescue and not break the bank.

I think my pup really like this! I got the hammer head shark and the great white shark one. The plastic is hard, it sounds a lil scary when hitting the tile. But other than that, my pup REALLY likes it. You can smell the bacon and the squeakers are loud, a lil tough to get out but overall a good buy for puppies. Good size too. He's been switching between the two for about 2 hours now, not worried about him hurting his mouth too. Gets him tired too! I recommend this greatly!
