QUICK TAKE: This is all solid wood, beautiful finish, no cheap feel, EASY assembly. On the smaller side but it is fine for my room. COLOR: After a months long search for the perfect coffee table at the right price, I could not be happier with my choice. My living room walls are a very light grey (almost looks white), my couch is grey, my brick fireplace is red, and my floors are a toasted chestnut laminate. They are not super dark but not super light either, so I was worried if this table would go well or clash. This table is a beautiful color, I wouldn't say quite as dark as an espresso stained wood but it looks great, it complements my room very well. In the dark of course the table looks darker but I really like it. QUALITY: This table is solid. It is light enough where I can lift and move it easily on my own but the wood is heavy enough that it very much surprised me based on what I paid for it, I was expecting something light, particle board-y but this is not that AT all. Once assembled, none of the pieces wobbled. When I first placed it on my hard floor there was an issue of leveling, but that issue seems to have disappeared once I stuck some of the felt furniture stickers underneath all of the feet. I was just trying to protect the floor but the table doesn't wobble anymore so that is perfect. PACKAGING/DELIVERY: My box was delivered by my mail lady. I am a girl of small stature myself, so when I saw the box leaning against my house with big stickers that said "HEAVY" I was worried that I was going to need to wait for assistance. To my surprise, the box was easy enough to get inside and opened on my own. This piece was packaged extremely well, my table didn't have a scratch or any issue whatsoever. Just be prepared to have a lot of cardboard and foam to dispose of. I added 3 cheapo baskets I picked up from wally world just to see how they would look. I was looking for a new coffee table and stumbled across this one at one of those warehouse deal prices due to damaged packaging. It arrived today and the packaging was pristine. I opened the box and every piece was in excellent condition, not even a scratch. I was pleasantly surprised at the heft of the pieces. This is not some cheap particle board piece of furniture. The instructions were super easy and it took me maybe 20 minutes to put together with no additional tools required. I'm 110% thrilled with this purchase. I love how deep and rich the finish is, the beautiful simplistic lines, and that it looks like a very expensive furniture bought in a high-end furniture showroom. Perfect size and color for my Space. The finish on mine was great. Feels substantial and solid. I put it together on my own but it would have been a little easier with 2 people. As you can see in the photos I used it in front of a loveseat size sofa. I needed this size coffee table so you could still walk past the large foot rest with my leather chair. However, with a larger couch or no foot rest I think my room would have needed a larger coffee table. Just check your size and make sure it works for your room.     • Very surprised at how great it is!
My husband and I needed a coffee table for our new apartment. We wanted one that would be big enough to be actually useful but compact enough to fit in our small living area. After looking EVERYWHERE online and in stores, we had resigned ourselves to either getting a really crappy particle board table or spending $170+ on a decent one... that is, until we spotted this beauty! Let me tell you, if you're looking for a sturdy, nice-looking, medium-sized coffee table, do yourself a favor and grab one of these. It fits perfectly in our new home and the "cappuccino" color is a near perfect match to our cappuccino furniture from various other stores. It seems like it's built to last, but only time will tell. Also, I assembled it easily in about 15 minutes. The only point at which I needed a little help was to have my husband hold the shelf up while I got the screws in. Such a breeze! My only "complaint" is that it was a little bit wobbly at first. Had my hubby put a little weight on the corners and push it down for a couple seconds and boom! no more wobbles.     • Coffee Table Fits well in small places
I ordered this coffee table because it looked handsome and it was the right size to fit in my living room without taking over a lot of space. It was also the style I was looking for. I wanted a shelf as well, which it has. I ordered the espresso, a dark brown, to match the end table I bought that is made by the same company. Putting it together would have been a little easier if I had an extra set of hands, to have someone hold each leg while I screwed in the wood screws with the provided Allen wrench, but I did manage it alone. If you tighten the screws for each leg, and then tighten again each time you add a leg, and then tighten when all the legs are attached, you will have a very sturdy coffee table. Use a "light touch" if you do it this way so you don't overtighten the screws. Follow the directions and you'll be golden. I love this coffee table. It's a good value for the money and perfect if you don't have a large living room area or if you have a lot of furniture in your living room. ... show more
