I LOVE THIS COFFEE TABLE. Initially I wanted a lift top coffee table and had been looking for quite some time. Then one day I was scrolling on Facebook marketplace and saw a rectangular table similar to this one so I started looking on Amazon again but this time for a square table. I'm a 29 year old single mama who put this thing together with just a screwdriver! It says you need a hammer for the dowels but I didn't. The instructions are legible and easy to understand. I move the table around alot, closer or further from the sofa, depending what we are using it for, i.e. eating, games, crafts, etc. I love it. Buy it. You won't be disappointed. The only con is the holes for the screws that go with the cam locks aren't wide enough at the opening so it kept slipping. So I just took the philips screw driver in each of the holes and just turned it a couple times to loosen it up. Oh and the first layer does chip I've noticed when screwing things in but for me it did not affect the durability of the table. ... show more

Took only about an hour to put together. Was worried about top having gaps as it came in 3 slats, but it went together nicely and came out smooth. Gave four stars as one leg had a crack in it.

Packaging - Product arrived in a reasonably sized box - it was a little heavy but my husband and I were able to easily carry it together. Assembly - the instructions are very clear but make sure you pay attention to the details - especially the holes. We put some items on in correctly but it was easy to fix. When assembling my husband was complaining the whole time because he thought it was not going to be sturdy but he was sooo wrong. Sturdiness - do not let the assembly sway you. Once everything is fully assembled this coffee table is a rock. I can sit/stand and lay on top of it and it felt like I was on an immovable object. Appearance - I ordered the grey table with laminated wood grain material. It looks beautiful. We had the ugliest coffee table in our living room. Overall I am very happy with it. I just bought it so we shall see how it holds up over time. ... show more

The table is pretty, very sturdy, and the perfect size for what I needed. If it came assembled, or assembled a little easier, I would’ve given it 5 stars. The ugly part was putting it together. I have assembled my fair share of furniture in my lifetime, and I have never wanted to smash something with a hammer so bad in my life. The instructions were easy to read and the parts were labeled well. But there are a LOT of pieces, and a LOT of fasteners. The holes were not the right size for the wood dowels, or some of the cam locks. They would fit on one side but not another. I finally gave up on the last couple of dowels after I snapped one in half. I figured it couldn’t be doing too much for holding it together if I could snap it off just by trying to line it up with another piece. I had to beat some of the cam locks into submission to get them to fit properly. Perhaps I got lucky, but it didn’t split or crack, even with smacking the cam locks and dowels with a hammer. This thing ended up taking the better part of 3 hours to put together, although I did put it together solo. I do like it now that it is all together. It looks nice, it feels sturdy even with the couple of missing dowels, but I don’t love it, mostly because I am still bitter about the assembly. ... show more
