EDIT: They replaced the stool very quickly, and it seems great. It has all the parts and came in the original packing. Nice stool! I have bought this stool before and it was been great, super sturdy and looks nice in my kitchen. I wanted a matching stool to go with it. However the stool I ordered showed up exactly like the pictures attached. It was in a giant box with the pieces of wood totally jumbled and banging about. The screws and bolts were all over the place, with the packaging shredded. Initially, I was annoyed, but thought it would be fine. Then I noticed there was damage to the wood stools (a chip) and a missing screw. Most likely due to the poor packaging. I wonder if this was a return that they just shipped out without checking? I am returning and ordering a replacement. I gave this 3 stars since the first stool was great. If they replace in a timely manner and there are no issues, I would change my rating to 4-5 stars. Not sure what happened here, but hope the manufacturer can fix it. ... show more

These are great! Descent quality for the price. The instructions could be better, we figured out a way easier way immediately. The Allen wrench is too long/bulky that came with it. And really wish it came with a little mallet to pop in the screw covers. A regular hammer would obliterate those and pretty sure they are gonna pop out quickly without it. ... show more

Been looking years for bar stools for my counter in the kitchen but nothing was ever right. Too short or too tall :/ but these are perfect!!! Nice solid wood, great feel and they look amazing with our modern farmhouse decor.
