Great wire, definitely meet my expectation creating wires for my solar project. However, there's one thing kind of bothers me a bit. Because the size of wire it uses is smaller than the one I got from Lowes, it shapes better when I try to crimp it with my crimper so it's not as tight as if I use those 6 AWG wires from Lowes, so I had to crimp it with 4 AWG settings in order to crimp it tight. This is a good set of flexible cable wire I am using for batteries. It's tough to get the cover off to expose wire for a lug but that's a good sign that it will hold up.i used a razor blade and wire cutters snipping around the edge and trimming it off with the razor blade. I am making a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack. This wire is used to connect 4 packs internally to the BMS. I tested 60 amps running through it and had no noticeable heat generation from it. Very nice wire, I will buy again for my next project.

Great wire for my needs. Needed to move battery posts and this is the right size gauge and lots of conductivity. Used it to relocate battery posts for jump starting and bypassing the front posts under hood, which sometimes canny deiver enough juice to the back of the SUV and to the bottom of the battery tray... Two battery posts in the side panel in the trunk of the X5 and this wire made it perfect for crimping new leads and much easier to jump now if needed. ... show more
