I read the reviews carefully before buying, looked for tips and also asked a Man who works in a body shop. Followed advice on my 15yr old Volvo on practically every black trim noted on box. Nearly 4 weeks on and it's great. No flaking or peeling as some said apart from a very very small bit around the window so probably my fault. Good prep is the key & about 3 coats.

Awesome product used to use this stuff years ago! Ignore the instructions and throw away the sponge brush supplied its useless and leaves a streaky finish. Clean the parts you need to dye thoroughly allow to dry then mask paint work etc if needed then using a soft cotton cloth apply forever black in the harder to reach areas first avoiding concentrating on one spot to long to avoid a patchy finish, then apply the rest in one pass keeping the cloth moist with dye. 3-4 coats later and your done 😊 that old grey trim is now nice and black again, when used years ago it used to last 8-12months so only time will tell if its still as good as it was.

I had a rather large crack at the top of my windscreen of all places! I had tried a similar product in the past without great results. I saw this one and thought I would give it another go as it was on offer. To my amazement the crack is 95% gone!! I took my time this time round and gently pressed either side of the crack as the resin was going in to really ensure it penetrated the crack completely. It's not perfect, but it has stopped the crack from getting bigger and hopefully saves me from buying a new windscreen! Definitely worth a go, just take your time and don't rush it!

I am very attached to my black car but the many large areas of plastic on the doors, front and rear bumpers and other areas of trim had turned to a light grey due to sunlight exposure. I was surprised how easy it was to prepare and apply this stain. It probably took me less than an hour in total and I am very impressed with the results as those parts of the car now look like new again. I did 2 coats and have still used less than 1/3 of the bottle on what is a very large car with lots of areas to cover. In short I cannot recommend this liquid highly enough even if it was perhaps much easier to apply on a black vehicle.
