Don't mind the mess spring cleaning. So I purchased 2 of these one in a 50ft and another in 30ft and still came short by a good 4 ft... I did 2 separate orders as I was not sure exactly where I wanted to cover. The area that is not covered is fine there is thick bushes back there with vines that are intertwined into the fence on other side so its not needed. However, at the time of purchase of the 50ft screen they only had 6ft option for 30-40$ cheaper than the appropriate 5ft one. It works. I prefer the look of the 5ft one. As far as privacy goes its decent. Purchased it due to neighbors on both sides and my dogs being obnoxious barking at every movement when they are in the backyard. Also because the gates were built with large gaps and this is a great way to sort of create a bit of privacy between neighbors and I. Teen daughter does not feel comfortable using hot tub or pool (other side not pictured) because of neighbors. Hopefully this will give her peace of mind for now. We are renters so this is all we can do for now.

Advertised as 5 foot high but description says real measurements 4 feet 8 inches high. Ok, so that’s good because a 5 foot high metal fence with bars is designed to use a 4 foot 8 inch windscreen as the open area with bars is 4 feet 8 inches. Here is where improvements need to take place. The measurements of these windscreens are anything but 4 feet 8 inches. This is very aggravating when doing a large project . This is not rocket science, it a matter of taking the time to measure correctly before fabrication. Seller doesn’t read the detailed email explaining the malfunction and answers you like you were a child. More aggravation. I will try one more time to communicate the problem with pictures, but then if not satisfactory, back they all go.

We ordered the privacy shade cloth to screen the noisy neighbors and their noisy dog from my kids and dogs. It was the perfect size and has given us relief from some of the nonsense, since we have all been out of school and working from home during quarantine. We ordered a second time to add 2.5 - 3 feet above our 5 foot fence near the back porch area where their kids continued to yell across the top of the fence. It works great, and the area with two layers is completely blacked out and private. In our case, we made it perfectly clear that we did not want to see or hear them any longer. It can also be a very subtle addition to your fence to add privacy from a roadway or block the view of something undesirable.

The color is great and matches my house, vinyl fence. I put it across my chain link to block some of the glaring sun. The afternoon heat in my yard is unbearable from the reflection off the concrete. Not only is it 20 degrees cooler because of the shaded area, but we got an unexpected bonus of some privacy.
