The umbrella is amazing. I just find it a little heavy for traveling. But it will not impact my rating as that is just my opinion. Quality is good, well made, strong and worked well while traveling in Alsaka with rain and wind.

My older one had those cheaper ribs and broke with just a little wind. This umbrella has more ribs and also wind vents in the umbrella portions. Another plus is that the storage sleeve has a zipper on it to make it easier to put on or take off. Every aspect of the construction and design shouts quality. Plus it is made from 15 recycled PET bottles. The size is so much larger than my old one. I didn't find the weight to be out of line for the size and construction of it, actually lighter than I expected at only 1 pound. ... show more

This umbrella is nice and sturdy, well-constructed, and should hold up well. I love the automatic open/close function. The only caveat is that it is on the heavy side, so I wouldn't want to carry it around or use it for extended periods.

It feels high quality and I appreciate that it comes with a lifetime warranty. The wood handle is also a nice touch. I also LOVE the umbrella sleeve. Usually it's so hard to get umbrellas back in the sleeve but this one comes with a zipper, which makes things so much easier. And the umbrella really is easy to close! I usually have to stick these auto umbrellas to the ground and push down to get it to collapse but I can easily close this one with my hands. I haven't had the chance to test it out with strong winds but will update if anything changes. For now, excellent product. ... show more
