I picked this up to keep food warm during gatherings, and it has quickly become one of those purchases that just works without any fuss. Assembly was straightforward, everything felt solid and well-made, and it fired up without tripping outlets or causing any electrical drama—which I always appreciate. One thing I absolutely need to point out: this thing gets hot. And I mean legitimately hot. I use it on my granite countertop, which handles the heat perfectly, but I would strongly caution against placing it on or near anything plastic or heat-sensitive. That includes plastic dishes—don’t do it. Stick with ceramic, metal, or other high-grade materials that can safely handle high temperatures. I also recommend positioning it thoughtfully, especially if you have a lot of people around, because this is not something you want someone accidentally brushing against. That said, the performance is excellent. It keeps food at serving temperature without drying it out, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The build quality is better than I expected for the price, which honestly feels like a steal for what you’re getting. Bottom line: it’s powerful, well-built, easy to assemble, and very reasonably priced. Just be smart about placement and materials, and you’ll love it as much as I do.
