First time fondant user here...but this fondant was easy to roll and shape.Used the "wilton color right " food coloring to color the white fondant and it came out as desired. Only thing was that i expected the fondant would harden once i had cut and shaped them...but it did not. I kept them around 24-48 hrs but still did not dry and harden . I later came to know we need to add tylose powder to the fondant to make it harden. So i just ordered that from wilton last week. Hopefully that would help . Another mistake i did was to put the fondant decors on a cake frosted with whipped cream. It makes the fondant melt and leak color. All the topper and decors started melting and slid down the sides!!! But that was my bad...not the fondant's fault. I should have done my research.

This was the perfect amount to make a good size unicorn horn for a unicorn cake with enough to make ears as well. I actually had to cut down the horn b/c it was too long. The fondant was easy to work with without needing a lot of extra sugar to keep it from sticking. It was hard to have it dry without any flat spots but I eventually figured out that putting it in a glass on its side helped. Humidity was a concern for drying time so I put it in the oven (without turning the oven on) to help dry it. I can't vouch for the taste but my daughter did try it and said it was good.

I love cake decorating and am self taught. I finally mastered buttercream and wanted to move on to fondant. I chose Wilton based on reviews of other products saying that wilton was the easiest to work with for first timers. It really was. The fondant was soft and easy to roll and mold. I love the small pack because I didn't need a lot of while and used basic food coloring to make a yellow fondant. My only issue (not the fault of the product) was that it was humid as heck when I was working on the cake and the fondant eyes kept sliding. I think I'll need to research more on how to resolve that issue. I'll be buying this again! (my only con is that I wish other colors came in this size packet, like black, red, pink... and at this price)

This was my first time using fondant and I was a bit apprehensive but I shouldn’t have. I kept the fondant in my pantry for about a week before using it and once I opened it, it was still pliable and perfect. It was also very easy to manipulate and it stretched so thin without breaking that I was able to make all the decorations out of one single package. I also mixed in some food coloring and it looked amazing! The taste was good. Nothing special but it was definitely edible and sugary. I’d definitely buy it again.

I have never worked with fondant and was a bit concerned about it. I needed to make white seashells for a birthday cake and the fondant worked perfectly. I ordered a shell mold meant for candy discs but the fondant worked perfectly fine. Has a pleasant vanilla taste. A tip for making fondant pieces using a mold - lightly spray the mold with baker's non-stick oil so the pieces come out of the mold easier. I dried the pieces in the oven using the oven light. Will definitely buy this product again.

This is by far the best tasting prepackaged fondant I've tested. Easy to work with and pleasant smelling, it comes a little softer than others I've worked with so you have to be patient when working with more detailed works like roses.

I have never worked with fondant and I can say it was very easy to work with. I rolled the fondant out w a rolling pin on parchment then used printed out block letters to cut out the letters in short jabs, so I didn’t drag the fondant out. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize fondant takes 24hrs to dry, so I used a portable fan. It was dry enough to keep shape in about 3 hrs w the fan on high the whole time. Didn’t taste it but it smelled good.
