Top quality at a good price. Buy the larger size, the price per oz is much better. I use it for everything. I just descaled my Rinnai tankless water heater and have done several neighbors as well. Much nicer to use than vinegar or acid. Clean dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, brass fixtures, sinks and faucets. Pour it down drains to get rid of smells. Etched concrete floor before painting. Cleaned dirty brick. Remove mildew and algae from deck and lawn furniture. Sprinkled some on an ant hill. They packed up and left. We used this product to remove rust stains from our pool liner and steps. It works great, but only use a small amount at a time (a little goes a long way), as it nullifies the chlorine in larger amounts. The first time I used it I didn’t realize, so it was a pain to get the levels back up. On the other hand if you ever have the chlorine too high and need it lowered quickly that knowledge might help you out in a pinch. Like so many others, I have really, really hard water. I pour about a teaspoon of Milliard Citric Acid 5 Pound in the soap dispenser every time I run the dishwasher. When I forget, the difference is very obvious. Dishes do not come out as clean and have a hazy look. I also add about a 1/8 cup to my laundry, so the laundry detergent works better. Citric acid helps keep calcium deposits from building up in your machines. I gave it four stars because this product is a little pricy but it's cheaper than replacing a dishwasher or washing machine every few years. ... show more

So many uses is right. I never bough Citric Acid before and honestly didn't know how amazing it could be. This is pretty much what is used for ice maker descaler so save yourself lots of money and just buy a big bag and make your own. I have added a dash to some candies and wow the sour pucker is amazing. I didn't know the uses for this stuff but from now on will have a bag at all times.
