Every year we make ice cream cupcakes and it used to be such a hassle to get them into the oven until I purchased this which made our lives so much easier. You do have to be a little careful with the legs since they fold in I suggest putting it on a baking pan and then putting it in the oven. I also used it for the display it was awesome not to have to worry about them spilling or tipping over. It also stores flat!!!

We wanted to learn how to make ice cream cone cupcakes. I found this stand and after watching a tutorial, we thought we could handle it and we ordered this stand. It came on time and was packaged well. We hand washed it and dried it. We placed it on the cookie sheet and loaded waffle cones into it. It seems like it wobbles as you put it on the cookie sheet. But once the cones are in it - it stays put! Take all but one rack out of your oven. The stand with cones in it is very tall. We used a table spoon and a half of batter per each cone. The recipe we used said to cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Ours were not done that fast. WeI used a toothpick to check and it came out to be more like 15 - 16 minutes. We dunked them in Wilton candy melts and sprinkles! Then topped them with White Wilton icing to look like ice cream. Then topped it off with Dot candy. It was a nice pre Christmas treat! They taste really good and it is not a big treat like a piece of cake is. We hand washed the stand and put it away. We used regular waffle cones with the big opening at the top. Next time we will try the sugar cones with a smaller opening at the top. I think those will sit in the stand a little better. Waffle cones should not refrigerated - so don't make yours too far in advance. Also, I don't know of a good way to transport the cones we made without smashing them. Even if I left them in the stand - I would have to hold them the whole way and I don't know how I could cover them. I have treat bags but I am afraid that would not work without smashing. This will be a treat for in home parties only for now. I am still happy with this purchase. I added up that even buying the stand - we made 12 cones for a total of less than $20! I think it will be $7 the next time we make these cones! A nice - quick and cheap dessert!

These racks really did the job. Not only did they help to keep the cones up right during the baking process but the also worked to display the finished product. The price did go up from when I bought. They were $12.99 when I bought them. I would recommend buying something like this if you want to make ice cream cone cupcakes with the pointed cone. They would also work well with the flat bottom cones.

I've been baking cupcake cones for many years and they tend to fall over when I used the cupcake/muffin tin. When I saw this gadget I was so excited!!! I used it for Easter cupcakes and they stayed upright while filling them, baking them, and serving them!!!!!! My only complaint was that the cones I used were the pointy sugar cones and when they were baking, the cones actually came apart. So you need to use the flat bottom cones and they will be perfect!!! Excellent product!!!!

I make a Cuban cone cake called Capuchinos, finding this rack to hold the stainless steel cones (also purchased) was impossible until I found it here. I've sent a screenshot to all my Cuban Facebook pages because everyone is looking for these but can't find. So happy. Prior used ice cream cones with parchment paper stuck in this abomination I rigged up that was unstable.

I have only used this once, but it worked very well. I made 4 ice cream cone cupcakes just to see how this baking rack functioned. It held up and the cones baked well. I agree with other reviewers who stated it could be sturdier, but once it is setup on a baking sheet, I didn’t experience any issues. Cleanup was very easy. Look forward to using it in the future for other projects; I love the idea that you can use it for so many projects and it will hold both types of ice cream cones.
