Description

A great racket for the beginning tennis player, the Tour Slam brings an effective combination of power, forgiveness, stability, and comfort to your tennis game. The oversized 110-square inch head provides a nice margin of error, maintaining solid power and comfort even when contact is less than perfect. Stop Shock pads near the throat of the racket help reduce vibrations and provide extra comfort for your arm during swinging. Volcanic Frame Technology adds a level of power and stability to your shots, allowing you to put more force behind serves and volleys at the net. Incredibly lightweight considering its generous head size, the Tour Slam Lite is all about improving power and consistency for recreational players. Its 113-square-inch head provides a large sweet spot, not only boosting power, but also adding several degrees of forgiveness on off-centered hits. Another source of added power comes from the Power Bridge, which provides longer mainstrings for greater rebound speed and liveliness upon contact.

    • Good quality and good for beginners
Style: Tour Slam Lite Color: Blue/Black Size: Grip Size 3 - 4 3/8"
We got this to start getting into tennis and the quality of it is excellent for beginners. I wouldn't buy if you are not a beginner because it might not fit the specs you need, but it works for me!

    • Nice racket for beginners, coming back to the game and guests
Style: Tour Slam Lite Color: Blue/Black Size: Grip Size 3 - 4 3/8"
Getting back into tennis after a HUGE hiatus and needed a racket shipped next day (game got rained out). Researched and this one seemed the best value choice. I wanted a larger head to make more contact and this is suppose to be a 112, but this doesn't seem that much larger than a 105. Perhaps it's the shape? The photo looked more round and larger, but the shape is standard oval. It feels light but the grip isn't working for me. I thought with such a long break from the sport I was starting from square one. Obviously it's like a bicycle and my muscle memory kicked in. I've always played with a Head racquet because I like the light feel of titanium. I was also off on my grip. I measured my hand and it came up 4 3/8 which I bought and it didn't feel right in my hand. My old racquets were a 2 (4 1/4) with an overwrap and that's what I think I'll get . But this Wilson Slam Lite is a great deal, so I'll keep it to see if my son wants it. He used to play recreational as a child/teen and his last was a Wilson Federer that he can't find between moves from dorm over his college years. If he doesn't want it it will be kept for guests who want to hit balls. ... show more
