48 years of age. 7.3 handicap. Play 50+ rounds a year. I have been using the Wilson Velocity Tour (green box) for many years and they are one of the best balls I have used. I have played the Pro V1, Callaway, Taylormade, Vice and whatever else there is and I have always come back to the Velocity golf ball. My distance is that of the Pro V1, I can get the ball to spin, not as well as the Pro V1, but then again I don't need it to. I always play 10 feet short of the pin an let it release. Every year I buy 12-15 boxes every year so as to build up an "arsenal" as I am worried the ball will someday go away. I absolutely love the ball. I usually don’t write reviews but after playing ProV1 and Chrome Soft for years, I began using the “Feel” version. After playing them for several months in various temperature settings, this ball is great for the price. Distance is same, or even better than ProV1. As a 7 handicap 63 year old, I am sold on these balls. At $1 a ball, thank you. If it goes on the water, oh well, if that would have been a ProV1, $5! Works for me. ... show more

I’m 64 and like a low compression ball with low spin, these fit the bill and won’t break the bank. I find plenty of the Pro V 1 balls in the woods so I can hit them to if I choose to, thanks to all you really good golfers with lots of extra money…..I appreciate it !! 😎
