  • High Handicappers Can Use This Ball Too
Color: White Style: High Numbers Pattern Name: Golf Balls
I am a 25 handicapper with an estimated low swing speed and I must say these balls perform second to none for me. They are expensive yes, however, their durability more than makes up for the high price. As a previous devoted user of Kirkland balls, Titleist Tru Feels and Srixon Q Star Tours, these balls just simply did not last more than maybe 3-6 holes depending on what transpired on said hole. The Pro v1x balls last a whole round maybe more. I have hit trees, straight up trunks of trees, branches, cart paths and these balls just take the abuse. Eventually they take their damage obviously, but the price you pay for the premium is crazy good. Sure if you break it down it as a 4$ ball, however, a Kirkland ball although a 1$ ball just simply gets destroyed faster than said 4$ ball. The main reason I got these balls were for their drop and stop claims and let me tell you, they deliver. I can hit a green with a 5 hybrid and these things stop like Brembo brakes. Titleist Tru Feels just keep rolling in comparison. I have seen no sacrificial yardage gains using these balls as a slow swinger. And I swear these balls truly do deliver and go straighter than other balls I try. They are a bit of a clickier harder ball than the Pro v1s, however, this is actually something I prefer in a golf ball, and I do not like the Pro v1s as much as the X. I tried the Pro v1s to give an honest go, but I will stick with the V1xs. I can only say, take a chance and try these balls at least once in your golfing life. See if they work for you. I tried it and am so glad I did. I will say just do not use these balls if you face water hazards or out of bounds areas. However, if you do not mind taking the risk of losing a ball then go for it. ... show more

  • I’ll never doubt you again.
Color: Yellow Style: Low Numbers Pattern Name: Golf Balls
I played prov1xs my entire life. Then I let a friend convince me of the dtc hype. I wont name names here, but friends dont let friends buy dtc balls. Cheaper? obviously. But not better value. I tried all the most hyped ones. NEVER AGAIN. When the pitch is “just as good as, but half the price”, you’re being lied to. If you believe it, you’re lying to yourself. Always. A cheaper worse ball is not an upgrade in any way. The big guys make those too, and I don’t play them for a reason. I’m a spin guy, so I prefer the Xs. There’s just no comparison between a real golf ball and all these new ones. Everyone has a golf ball company now, and they’ve all proven it aint that easy. As hunter s thompson said, ‘a volkswagen is fun, but a ferrari is something else entirely’. Thats definitely not the exact quote, but it was close, and I only have the hell’s angels one on audiobook. Maybe, possibly, someday a vice, or a snell, or a seed, or an onma, or a quantix, or a whatever will actually reach the level of a prov1. By then the prices will be the same, or very similar, and it wont matter. Im back on good stuff baby, and I’ll never betray it again. ... show more

  • Good balls but overly pricey
Color: White Style: Low Numbers Pattern Name: Golf Balls
Anyone that's played pro v balls knows they are good. The only unfortunate part is how much they cost. Your paying for the brand and reputation far more than the technology. Considering they have been around d forever the should be cheaper by now.

  • Added 20 yards to my drives.
Color: White Style: Low Numbers Pattern Name: Golf Balls
Some one should have told me about these a long time ago. They sure make a difference. I am 82 years old with an 18 handicap and a slow swing speed. The high handicap results from not being able to reach the greens in regulation off the white tees. The difference in distance between these balls and the soft balls I was using give me another 20 yards with a driver and about 15 yard more with a 3 wood. This puts 420 yard holes within range with 2 shots or leaves a short chip shot. I am counting on these balls taking 4 to 6 strokes off my handicap. ... show more
