These pants are comfortable and a good weight. Not lightweight or too heavy. They seem to fit true to size but, they do have extra room in the tummy area. They are high waisted and maybe if you are short waisted like me, that will give you extra material in the tummy area. I do recommend these and would probably buy again. I like the fit of the Willit Women's Track/Athletic Pants. I have ordered 3 colors and two of the pants fit comfortably and look good. The last pair I ordered fit differently, uncomfortably; as though the back of the waistband was in the front. The front of the track pants were bulky, ill-fitting., uncomfortable. The waist, even when tied snuggly, kept dropping off my waist. I like the pants, overall, so Amazon assisted me in returning the pants I just bought with a new replacement.
