Perfect little wedge for just about any tradesman. Im an ironworker and I cant tell ypu how many times we needed to move an object just 1/8 inch and this wedge was perfect. I also bought the 5 and 6 inch and they are ungodly handy. Very good quality and they last forever. I have 2 co-workers that carry these wedges in their bolt bags and ypu never know its there until you can use it. Perfect for any trade and just al around handy and easy to store. My only issue is that they do Frey a bit under extreme loads but that's to be expected. I wish Williams made a little holder for it to hook onto my tool belt. ... show more

Every toolbox should have a few. I personally like the smaller ones and then I can just stack them if I need something bigger. Either way they can really get you out of a jam. I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description.     • Worked better than any jawed puller i own. Great for lots of things.

Seemed expensive for a thin metal wedge especially when you order lots of them at once. But my advice is you cant have too many. They worked great and the more you have the more you can do. I used them to pull off an expensive hub off a bobcat engine. The part had been rusted on the shaft for 35 years. Nothing worked. Tried 6 wedges evenly spaced and evenly tensioned. 4 minutes later it popped off the shaft smoothly and without any damage at all. Saved me a $700 clutch assembly so im happy. Ill be using these instead of jaw pullers again im sure. ... show more

Bought this and another size both excellent quality. A bit pricey but worth it and a lot less hassle buying quality tools that you don't have to send back.......finally learned that lesson.
