I was at a large home store, looking for these. I have used these in the past, to secure many items in my home to the abundant sheet rock walls. I COULD NOT FIND THEM!!!!! I ordered these on Amazon and they arrived asap! One great note; there are several sizes included in the pack. allowing you the right aize for the job. If you have an item to secure on your sheet rock walls or ceilings, these are EXCELLENT! If you are a renter, keep in mind that these will leave a hole in the sheet rock of 1/4 on an inch or so. You may need to spackle the holes upon removing the fastener(s). ... show more

We have used the plastic version of these in the past with great results so I decided to get a more permanent hardware for installation with these metal pieces. I realized the wall studs were a bit too far apart to mount my cat shelf securely to those so these are installed on a hollow wall currently. The shelf alone weighs 5 pounds so I’m hoping this can withstand at least 20 lbs of force where I have it. Make sure you have them loose enough to the screw when pushing them through the wall at first and maybe use a hammer to drive the hammer clip through the media entirely or else it won’t open and anchor and it’ll fall right back out. Then when you know it’s secured through the wall tighten it up not crazy tight but secure, that’s what seems to work for us. I’ll update if I have any further issues with how I installed it or anything unexpected happens with the hardware itself. ... show more

Pros: useful assortment. unless you're mounting anvils to the wall, the 14 smaller ones are your friends. sturdy construction with strong springs to position the toggles Cons: very long threads on the bolts which could be a factor in very old houses (bolts too long for the wall gap) ... show more
