I was installing a big 80 pound Old School TV right above my work desk and everything was going great I installed 2 screws through the mount I bought from Amazon on the right hand side and they installed perfectly…. I went to install the screws on the left and it turns out there weren’t any studs there and my cheap stud finder proved unreliable… it was a disaster and I thought it was over… but I began researching and found out about drywall anchors. These were some of the best value and strength ones being sold and they work tremendously. Each one is rated for up to 70lbs in strength and with two installed I finished installing the TV mount and for an even more piece of mine I purchased 3M Claws and and stuck them between the areas of the mount that had the wall exposed. These were incredibly durable and fit perfectly and the TV hasn’t moved a centimeter even thought it’s 80 pounds. Half on the drywall and half on the studs and I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase. One quick word of advice, don’t doubt Drywall! It really can do wonders with these new technologies and you can hang pretty much anything! As a rule of thumb always go for studs first but if you can’t find them don’t worry and trust in this modern technology. Highly recommended.

This is where it’s at. I get tired of drilling holes and hammering iron into the wall. Take your drill attach it to the end of your Phillips after you’ve marked your spot, drill it into the wall install your screws into the bracket and hang whatever you wanna hang with confidence so far I’ve hung a mirror on drywall without hitting studs. The mirror weighs over 100 pounds in my garage. I have my weedeater and blower hanging off two screws. I’m pretty confident the drywall can hold up a lot of stuff and these anchors definitely help.
