I originally bought this product to use for my PS4 controller, as the mini-usb cable I currently use is only 1ft long. I wanted to be able to sit on the couch while charging my controller, as well as plug my controller into my PC and play from the couch. However, neither of these are possible as the cord just doesn't work. When I plug it into my PS4, nothing happens. It doesn't charge my controller, nor does it connect with my PC. Windows only recognizes that the device is broken. Will not be buying anything from this company again. This cord does not fit flush on an Xbox One controller. I am an avid player of Rocket League and it constantly disconnects. It wiggles back and forth while plugged in. Sometimes the input doesn't respond but I notice the "X" button light is still on. I am curious what device takes such a long input and why they decided to make this. I've only had this for a few days, but so far it works great. The cord is so long that I have no problem plugging it into my PS4 and playing from the bed. The cord I had before was way too short and I had to sit right in front of the TV to play. It seems durable and doesn't wiggle or fall out of the controller. The cord is soft and flexible, and it doesn't seem like it will tangle easily. The only downside is the horrible smell. When I first opened the package, the cord had a weird chemical smell. It was super strong, but after airing it out for two days it's not as noticeable. I'm sure the smell will be gone completely after a while. ... show more

First of all, I will say that the length is awesome and I will be keeping this cord because I have several pieces of technology that this cord will fit. However I purchased this for my son's Xbox controller that had a frayed cord. Unfortunately the controller has a sunk in adapter and because of the shape of this charger (it's kind of oval instead of squared off) it won't fit into the slot. Such a bummer, I really wanted this cord to work. It did fit his cordless controller but it stuck out kind of far- still did the trick and was plugged in but not a super awesome fit. ... show more

Perfect. I wasn’t sure it would be long enough, let-alone work. My PS4 controller started acting possessed and wlI had to keep restarting it to get it to work. Finally found out when I plugged it into the system it worked. Frustrating because the plug is too short, so I bought this with low expectations. These tech companies are frustrating the way they personalize their electronics so you end up spending extra money on plugs and chords instead of being able to use the same one for different devices. I bought an after market plug for my iPhone which was a pack of five. Some worked and some didn’t. Surprisingly this worked (I love after market products when they work) perfectly and I can finally sit in my chair and play comfortably. I would prefer it if I could use my controller unplugged but this is much less expensive than buying a new one. It’s like playing on the first PS. I purchased this primarily for using my Xbox One controller on my PC while I was sitting across the room with my PC hooked up to my TV screen. It performs the job well and without hassle. The long cable was more than enough for what I needed it for and both ends of the cable plugged in securely. The USB end feels like it would slip out with heavy movement, but the micro USB end plugs in snugly. The cable itself feels surprisingly thin and light. Time will tell how it holds up, but it is still a solid product for the price. It also works on my Galaxy S7 and does support fast charging if I ever needed it.
