Few things that I have to mention first. Instruction manual or box does not mention that is a FV-AXE3000R. If you are like me, and who were recently hard-wired, but needed to purchase this for the Wifi capability for your rig, because your internet now is wireless only instead of wired, you'll need another device to download the drivers from their website first, and unpack them to a spare USB drive to install. CD readers, let alone a MINI CD, have limited use these days. I'm not even sure where my external CD reader even is anymore if I still have it, or even if Mini CD is even supported on it. I can't ask Fenvi to send out a USB drive with their product, but there should be another option to be able to plug and play if someone is in the same situation as I am, or instruction to download from another device to install first in the manual/listing. Functions as it should. No issue with usage after drivers were installed with either WiFi or Bluetooth. Wireless connection with fixed antennae is limited based on the speed tests. May need to order some SMA antennas mounted to a base like another version that is sold with them, to get closer to the router and away from any obstruction (although WiFi 6 shouldn't be that affected by that.. Fixed antennae don't work well for me, but that's my fault for thinking they would. Easy enough fix for that. Overall, no issues since install. Install was easy like any other PCI card. Recommendation: Check your available headers for USB power before purchase. I had to order a USB header hub that splits 4 into 1, to be able to power a few of the PCI devices that require it, since my motherboard only has 2 USB headers. No issues so far with a few days of use. Will revisit if there are any issues down the road!

There are some sort of compatibility issues with older computers. I have 2 win 10 pc's, one a i7-860 from 2009, and a Phenom X6 from 2010. I could not get the i7 pc to even find this device on the PCIe. The Bluetooth would work but never saw any Wi-Fi device, did everything under the sun, updated Bios, tried every different PCIe slot, intel support assistant device finder, and nothing. Put in the AMD PC and instantly found it, immediately installed drivers automatically, and was up and running no problem. I suspect it is a CNVi Wi-Fi card but I do not know for certain. It does not seem to have a m.2 card attached under the heatsink but AX210 is not listed as CNVi. Could just be my PC. It's ok for me, I need Wi-Fi 6 for one PC in a location with no ethernet and it doesn't matter which one so its fine but be aware. Aside from all that the, Wi-Fi signal is strong and able to connect before even attaching the antennas.

This adapter sped up my WIFI connection by a lot, however to use the Bluetooth feature it would require me to disconnect my front USB ports from the motherboard as it requires you to hook it up to that plug on the motherboard. I do not have meany usb ports on the rear and I know I could buy a USB hub to give me more but it would have been nice to know that up front. Other than that rock solid and works well with my Linux Open SUSE leap OS.

Normally I don’t write reviews unless the product is incredible. However, I felt that this product needs to be reviewed since it does not meet the minimum standards. I recently updated my home network to support WIFI6E. I’ve been using 6E with my MBP M2 for about a week, without issues. My typical average FAST.com test comes in somewhere around 700Mb/s on my 1200 Mb/s (1.2Gb/s) network. However, with this card I could NEVER discover the WIFI6E network (Which has a different SSID “name”). My goal was to (obviously) improve speed tests to my PC that is in the back area of my house (about 150ft away from the router). I was able to connect to my 5Gb/s card at full strength and began to run tests on the network and internet. For some reason everything felt a bit slow and glitchy. When I disabled my built in wireless and ran the tests on this 110Mb/s for “Wifi6E” PCIE card on 5G network. Average of 5 tests against Fast.com Next, I tested the previously installed mobo wireless interface. 410Mb/s for “Wifi6”. The tests were then repeated back again to confirm it wasn’t just a momentary interruption in the network connection. The results were nearly identical (off by +2/-2 Mb/s). For reference, running the test on my WIFI6E network connection built into my MBP, I get 700Mb/s at the same location. Now, keep in mind this is a laptop… but really the PCIE card should be better given the external antennas. Researching the chipset used in this card, it does appear to have some issues with other users. I tried to find thirdparty drivers (at least not from the sketchy site) and was able to track down the official drivers (newer version) for this card. Installing those resulted in…. exact same result. One last attempt to see if I can at least get 6E on this device by moving my entire PC (ok, I unplugged 4 cables) to move it right next to my WIFI router and… no dice. Defeated, I pulled the card out, threw it in the box and returned it to the manufacturer. Whether this was just me or the other people on the forum… I just could not get this to work as functioned. I am only giving it one star as it isn’t even the fastest WHEN you can get it to connect to the network. Do not recommend it.

downloaded drivers..still nothing after 3 restarts, tried a different slot and boom worked asap. my AMD motherboard has wifi 5 card built in.. but router is wifi 6 and my computer is up the stairs and a ways away from router...was getting 120mbps and some decent latency.. now with this 6e card im getting 277mbps and way less latency...basically the same speed as i was getting with an ethernet cable. may upgrade router to wifi 6e in the future for 6ghz bandwidth but this is great already!! highly recommend
