The media could not be loaded. Another fall/winter season means a new jacket for my daughter! We get a lot of rain here so I wanted something waterproof. Very pleased with this 1 it is super nice! It has tons of pockets so she has plenty of spaces to put things in. I like that it has zippered pockets so her items don't fall out. The jacket has a soft, warm and cozy inner lining which is also nice. The hood covers her head and is also removable if she doesn't like the look. This jacket comes in multiple color options but she loves the pale pink! Fantastic quality jacket for the cooler weather!

This WICKHAM Girl's Waterproof Ski Jacket is a wonderful jacket for the winter. Its thin and lightweight but insulated well enough. It's not cold enough yet to really test it out though. I got the size 8 for my 8 year old who's 49.5" tall but the shoulders were a bit wide and sleeves almost 2 inches too long and the length is good coming down past her hips about 3 inches. The exterior shell looks to be fairly Waterproof but some of the stitch holes around the waist look a little large compared to other stitching throughout the coat such that waterproofing may not be evenly protected. The interior lining is fuzzy, thin and so far seems warm but.... there are a couple spots that seem to be loose or have a tear that thin white insulation looks like it's coming through. The velcro down the chest works well at the moment but the stitching isn't to the edge and leaves an over lap edge that would come loose over time. Speaking of which there are already loose threads on some of thr velcro straps and a few spots on the coat. Going back the the exterior shell, I can see a lot of crease marks and usually with this material, cracks can developed along those crease marks usually in two seasons if it's an everyday winter coat. The 3 exterior pockets seemed thin lined to me with the two side pockets not appearing to provide as much warmth as the furry interior lining so gloves will be needed. Overall I think its priced well being maybe a few bucks more than I think its worth and its a good winter coat even with some of the minor issues I might chalk up to a little quality control overview. At first glance though, it does come across as a more expensive jacket.

I got this for my 9 year old girl (size 8). It fit her perfectly and was very warm and pretty. There are many zippers and pockets which is very convenient. It will be a great snowboard jacket for her. The only thing was when I washed it, it did shrink a bit, she still fits it, but I think you need to air dry this to prevent it from shrinking.

This is a great coat it’s adjustable very comfortable and soft. The purple color is nice and easy to see you when you’re out and about. It doesn’t seem excessively warm on very cold nights. You might need additional layers underneath. But given it doesn’t usually get too cold where we live. I think this will be a great winter coat, and the material is definitely waterproof to protect you from freezing rain or snow.

I picked this up for my 11 yr old as she was complaining that her old raincoat wasn't warm enough for waiting at the bus stop in our PNW rains. She normally wears a size 14, and I got this in size 14-16. It fits her perfectly with a bit of room to grow. The jacket is nice and thick because of all of the layers, and feels very well made. I think this jacket will easily last her the next two years as an every day jacket in the fall/winter/spring and be able to get passed down to her younger sibling. It would really make an especially nice gift, or be useful as a classroom loaner jacket where lots of kids are wearing it. The fur on the inside is really soft and nice, and feels sort of like a long minky type fabric. Only the body of the jacket has this liner and the sleeves are lined with something thinner. This is great because it should help prevent overheating, although you'd probably want to wear it with some long gloves in the snow that can be tucked under or over the sleeves. The hood easily unzips so it can be worn without it, and I liked that the hood had a snap in the front so it could be worn tightly around the face as this is important when in the snow. There is a spot in the front where there is a small gap between the hood and the jacket, which is why you can see my daughter's hair peeking through in this spot in my pic. In the snow I'd probably have her wear it with a neck gaiter to avoid this draft being a problem, and to keep her hair out of the snow. I'm not even sure it'd be a real problem though since the body of the jacket looks so warm. I also really liked the breast zipper pocket, and it fit her tiny cell phone without any problems. It wouldn't fit a larger adult cell phone though, hers is closer to a flip phone in size.

This ski jacket is extremely nice and very well made. The material is very durable and great quality, especially for this price range. The blue color is very vivid and beautiful. Inside, the jacket is lined with an extremely soft and warm, grey fleece lining. The jacket has 2 pockets for the hands, and then another pocket on the left side chest. These pockets have zippers to securely keep items inside, such as gloves, money, phone, etc. The jacket also zips up and down very easily and smoothly without getting hung up. All the zippers are very durable and good quality. There is also a flap that velcros over the main zipper to help keep the cold, wind, or wetness seeping in through the teeth of the zipper. This is another thoughtful feature of the jacket. The hood of the jacket is also lined with the same soft, warm fleece, and can be removed if preferred. Overall, the craftsmanship, materials, and features of this jacket are all nice quality. I think it would be extremely difficult to find another jacket at this price point with the same quality this one offers. I'm very happy with this product and would have no hesitation recommending it to others.
