I love this seasoning for great chili. I make chili with both beef or ground chicken and this seasoning works both for great. It's spicy and flavorful but not overwhelming. Inside the box, it contains several small packages holding the individual spices so you can decide how much of each you want to add. Lazy? Want to just throw things together? This is for you. Like some of the users, I found the Masa packets had been left open and made a mess. Since I rarely use it except when the Chili is a little too watery, this was no problem.

Wick Fowlers' is the closest to my San Antonio family recipe! However, the magic ingredient, is not to use water, but use a dark beer with Wick Folwers 2Alarm Fire MIx. A dark beer brings out the flavor of the stew meat & spices. The alcohol evaporates!
