This is a solid, old-school fun RC truck that feels more “hobby-grade” than something you’d hand to a kid and expect to replace in a week. The 4WD actually matters here. This truck climbs, it climbs over grass, gravel, dirt and uneven pavement without getting stuck or stalling out. It’s fast enough to be exciting but not so twitchy that it’s constantly flipping itself over. Steering is responsive, and the suspension does real work instead of just being decorative. The LED headlights are bright and functional and evening or low-light driving is totally doable, which extends the fun instead of cutting it short when the sun goes down. Battery life is reasonable for this size and power and it charges without drama. It’s easy enough for kids to control, but not boring for adults. It feels cohesive in design and build, not slapped together, which is marvelous at this price point. If you want an RC truck that can take hits, handle real terrain and deliver straight-up fun without babysitting it, this one earns its keep. No gimmicks, just a capable little beast....definitely five stars!!!

This car is awesome. Don't let picture fool you though. Looks way bigger than it is!! But it's a powerful little car. The picture is an 11 year olds legs. Car has elf on the shelf dolls on it.

It is NO where near that size as pictured. It the size of a model care. The picture is so wrong. Now my grandson loved it and works and durable.

Product Review: Steel Speed 1:12 RTR RC Truck I recently picked up the Steel Speed RC Truck, and for the price, it’s a surprisingly solid little beast. Here are my thoughts after running it a few times: • It has a futuristic, armored truck look, kind of like a mashup between a Cybertruck and a rock crawler. • The body feels durable enough for light off-roading. It’s plastic, but not flimsy. • Tires are big, grippy, and ideal for all- • Suspension actually works—independent suspension gives it some decent bounce and flexibility. • The LED light bar up front is a cool touch. Great for dusk driving or just looking but thought it would love bigger with seeing the picture Perfect for kids, teens, or beginners getting into RC cars. If you’re an experienced hobbyist looking for high-speed racing or pro-grade crawling, this probably isn’t your rig—but for the price, it’s a fun, capable, and sturdy little truck. Smaller than expected and very very slow, also came with a 2 cell battery pack but was supposed to get a 4 cell battery pack, why all the deceptive ness, first it’s really smaller than the picture, you say it’s fast and it’s not and than don’t even give the correct batteries, come on man it was supposed to be a cool Christmas gift for my son now it just sits on a shelf, thanks a lot!

I bought this for a gift and it and it exceeded all expectations. The 1:12 scale is the perfect size — not too small, but still easy to carry around. The metal shell feels sturdy and durable, giving it a realistic look and the ability to handle rough play without getting scratched up easy. The LED headlights are a fun touch for evening time. They are bright and make it more realistic. The battery life was good we got plenty of run time before we had to recharge . The 4WD system makes it perfect for all kinds of terrain. It comes with a rechargeable battery that’s easy to install and remove . Charging is straightforward with the included USB charger, and it doesn’t take too long to get to full power. The remote uses regular batteries.

I have a problem because my grandson loves this RC. There are a couple of issues with the product. First, the truck stops going in reverse for some reason. The only way to stop it is by turning it off and turning it back on. The second issue is that the truck will start running by itself without touching the remote. I purchased it for his birthday and I don't want to take it away from him but I am disappointed that it has so many issues. If he was older, I would return it but it's hard to explain to a six year old about something that doesn't work correctly! Please resolve this issue so other members won't have to deal with this.
