I bought this food for my very fussy, very senior cat. We frequently play the frustrating game of "no, not this one!" at meal time, so I served this with guarded optimism. She ate it right up. The pate was light, soft, and easy for her to eat. It had the smell and texture of a higher grade food, more like a boutique brand than a grocery store or basic brand. Very pleased with the purchase.

I was researching wet cat food for my best friend's cat and I was shocked when I read the ingredients in this cat food. It was by far the best ingredients I had found. Very natural, no wheat or soy or junk or corn added in this cat food. The first Main Ingredients was real food- salmon, they throw some chicken livers in there, carrots. I was literally in shock. The only thing I have a question about is there is salt in this and it's listed kind of high in the ingredient list, so that would perhaps be a concern, however it may not be that high. I don't know. I read reviews that independently tested this cat food and they did not seem to say anything about the salt level so it may be fine. There is also Carrageenan in it as a thickener, which is better left out, how's it can be irritating to humans and animal stomachs . It is in a lot of human food that we don't even realize. But overall, as a cat food, with the main, first ingredients being REAL salmon, real food ingredients, which is unheard of in dog and cat food, this is something I would recommend. I haven't found anything that's better.

I ordered a case that my cats liked. My second case was completely different. It was nasty looking and my cats refuse to touch it. I am stuck with two cases, one each of two flavors that my cats won't touch. No returns for food Massively inconsistent product.
