Overall, at about $6, this is a great value for anyone tired of paying the high prices for name-brand capsules. I ordered these Ricco Espresso Pods to try in my espresso machine and the quality is definitely on par with the official pods. The quality is excellent for the price—they are aluminum pods and match the original shape so they fit and seal perfectly without any jamming or leaking issues. I've had issues with cheap pods in the past, so I was glad to see these are made well and don't mess with the machine's mechanism. As for the coffee itself, it’s a solid medium roast blend. It has some distinct fruity aromatics and a bit of a smoky finish that isn't too overpowering. It makes a smooth shot that isn't overly bitter and holds up well if you add milk or just drink it straight (as I do). It’s a well-balanced blend that works for a daily morning cup without being too intense. I can’t comment on long-term consistency yet, so time will tell if every box is this good. I’ll update the review if the quality drops or if I get a bad batch, but for now, these are great and would enjoy them daily. ... show more

I never had Nespresso before so this was fun and interesting to try out. My daughter has the Nespresso machine so I went over there to brew up some Joe. It does produce a nice aromatic cup of coffee, definitely fruity and smoky notes as advertised. The amount of coffee made per cup is smaller than my Keurig but I did enjoy it. This box is very small, has 10 Nespresso coffee pods in it. You can see from the pic its' size compared to a Refresh eye drops vial. I think the pricing is fair at $5.69 for 10 coffee pods, so $.57/each pod. My only complaint is I'm getting less coffee per cup than I'm used to from my Keurig. So, that could actually make the cost a little higher per cup given amount of coffee for each pod. I think it up to personal taste and choice of course. If Nespresso flavors are your thing you'll love this flavor no doubt. I'm gonna have to grab some other flavors, then try them at my daughter's house lol. Nespresso is pretty good stuff ... show more

These Whole foods Ricco Espresso pods are good for the price and they work just fine in the Nespresso machine at work. The coffee taste is medium blend and smooth. It smells fresh upon brewing and the strength is good enough that I can enjoy a full mug with a splash of milk in the morning and afternoon. ... show more

Taste is good however the pods don’t produce much coffee when compared to other brands. I’ve purchased twice and results were the same both times.

    • Great smooth flavor
The only Nespresso pods I buy. Ever since Nespresso raised their prices significantly, I only buy the Ricoo capsules. It’s bright, goes well with milk of any kind (love with Silk Soy Creamer) and good hot or cold. Great price, good flavor.
