  • WHOLE FOODS KITCHENS Uncured Pepperoni Deli Pizza (16in, 43.3 oz)i’m
This is hands down one of the best store-bought pizzas I’ve had — and it’s from Whole Foods, so you already know it’s held to a higher standard. The 16-inch size is generous, perfect for sharing (or not, if you’re really hungry), and it bakes up beautifully with a crispy crust, melted cheese, and a satisfying pepperoni kick. Taste & Convenience: Delicious, fresh, and super easy to pop in the oven for a quick meal. The cheese blend is rich and flavorful, the crust has that perfect balance of crisp and chew, and the uncured pepperoni delivers just the right spice without being greasy or overpowering. Ingredient Transparency: This is where Whole Foods continues to shine — no hydrogenated fats, no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial additives, and over 100 banned ingredients not found here. I appreciate the use of real mozzarella, provolone, extra virgin olive oil, and the fact that the pepperoni is uncured with no added nitrates or nitrites (besides those naturally occurring). Room for Improvement: That said, I noticed a few less-than-ideal ingredients that could be swapped in future versions — things like citric acid, cultured wheat starch, and soy lecithin (a common processing aid). They’re not deal-breakers, especially in moderation, but worth noting if you’re strict about ultra-clean eating. Also, with ingredients like honey, cane sugar, and some dough conditioners, it leans more toward “clean comfort food” than totally minimalist. Final Thoughts: Overall, this pizza gets a big thumbs up from me. It’s fresh, flavorful, and much cleaner than most frozen or deli pizzas out there. I feel good serving it to my family, and I’ll definitely be buying it again. Just a few tweaks to the crust ingredients, and this would be a 5-star clean-eating winner. Would I recommend? Yes — especially if you want something that’s quick, tasty, and made with better-for-you ingredients. Just read the label if you’re ingredient-conscious, and enjoy every bite. For $11.99 is a great quality pizza ... show more

  • Quick Meal Pleaser
This pizza is on my Amazon order from Whole Foods every week. The quality is outstanding, the crust (if brushed with a bit of olive oil is the perfect crispiness. The size is larger than other pizzas, so we always have leftovers for breakfast with an egg or lunch. We always add additional fresh toppings like peppers and red onions. ... show more

  • Good
Tastes good, cooks quickly. I like that they try to use healthier ingredients on it. Would be nice to see a version(s) that offer more options. Added some pineapple and chili flakes to mine.

  • Baked well in Midea Air Fryer. Added extra pepperoni purchased separately.
I live in a studio apartment which does not have a full conventional oven. I have the Midea Flexify French Door Toaster Oven Air Fryer Combo [ ASIN : B0D1BGLW25 ]. I cut the uncooked pizza into slices, covered them in foil, and baked them fresh daily for the last 3 days. I also bought extra 365 Everyday Value Uncured Pepperoni Slices [ ASIN : B07NRSNHQM ] and I was able to make a custom pizza. I baked individual slices at 350F for 13 minutes and then broiled them for 1-2 mins to sear the top. I added my usual red pepper, black pepper and basil right before eating and it was literally perfect! Tasted superb! The pizza was $13 and the extra pepperoni was $5 and I paid $15 for delivery and tip. However, I bought other things at Whole Foods like milk and the usual groceries so the delivery fee and tip allocation was $3. Total pro-rated cost was about $21+tax. Last week I ordered pizza from a well known DC spot and that pizza cost me $48, including tips and fees for delivery. While that pizza was good, it wasn't $30 extra good. ... show more
