Review ratings and abundant claims of non-functioning fingerprint reader definitely threw me off the tempered glass screen protectors for a while but after seeing a video review i decided to try it out for myself, and am pleasantly surprised with how well it is working. fingerprint scan seems to be just as reliable as before, maybe a hair slower and requiring a tad bit more pressure but altogether working just fine (about a day after installation now). i did need to re-register my fingerprints after installation, was getting fair bit of non-matches using the original set of prints. the glass isn't quite as slick as the original screen, i guess due to oleophobic layer, but altogether i really like this screen protector plus the price is great compared to what i paid for an s20 protector (i guess thanks to the flat screen on the s22) ... show more

    • Fingerprint reader works most of the time
The install kit is decent, definitely better than before. The fingerprint reader requires a bit more force and precision. Sometimes not working at all and having to remove and add prints again. This is more the industry's fault trying to copy every new feature. Might have been luck with the ones that use glue and UV light to seal. Wish they dropped the misleading 9H hardness rating, but unfortunately they all do it. ... show more

Fingerprint Reader is sometimes hit or miss, even with sensitivity turned up. Guide made it very easy to apply, and adhesion so far has not been an issue. My favorite part? NO fingerprints! Overall, I'd probably buy again.

I buy whitestone screen protectors for all our devices and family devices too. They're easy to install, good directions and some come with a warranty for replacement. These may break but replacing it at a low cost and the fact that the pack comes with 2 already is a bonus.

    • Cracked out of nowhere and fingerprint scanner issues
Edit: Had to update and drop a star. The company reached out after I posted the initial review. I asked about what can be done to rectify the issue, but never heard back. The first issue I have is that the screen seemed to crack out of nowhere (at the top near the camera cut out). I only had it for a day and didn't drop my phone or anything on it. I'm not sure what happened. It was on the charger and I took it off and and saw the crack. The only thing I can think of is maybe it happened while putting the case on my phone, but that would be the first time that's ever happened. The second issue, as many others talk about, is the screen protector making the fingerprint scanner unreliable. I will say that it seems to work OK, not as consistent as other scanners I use on devices, but once I got used to the placement and learned to make sure that I press down FIRMLY, it's fairly solid. I will also suggest that you might need to redo the scans once or twice, especially once you learn what angle you typically will press the scanner from. My left finger is waaay more consistent than my right so I will reset it and hopefully that will help. To provide some context, this is my first phone with an in-screen fingerprint scanner so I've had to get used to the placement of that in general. From the little bit of research I've done, these kinds of scanners and tempered glass protectors don't seem to mesh well in general, but this one has been considered one of the best. It might also be telling that Samsung only makes a film screen protector, so idk how great we can expect these to work. With that said, as for my star rating, I'm mostly taking off for the screen cracking without anything happening to it. ... show more

These are the best protectors I have ever used on a Samsung phone. I have always used outerbox cases but always had trouble with the protector fitting the case. These fit perfectly. Love them

    • The Easiest Screen Protector!!
With the enclosed guide, it's almost impossible to put on the screen wrong. No bubbles, no dust underneath, just a perfect screen protector. You will have to re-enroll your fingerprint but other than that, amazing!!

This Whitestone EZ Galaxy S22 Screen Protector [Dome Glass EZ] Full Coverage Tempered Glass is very easy to install, fits nice, and I really like the look of the round hole for the camera on this screen protector. It looks much nicer than the notch that so many others use. I have not used the fingerprint reader so I cannot attest to how that works, but the phone has not had trouble reading any of my taps or touches. ... show more
