Description

Avalon Cotton Canvas bell tent series are designed to the highest standards of quality workmanship; available in three different sizes. The largest 6-meter size is our premium bell tent as it is a four-season tent and can be used in all kind of weather conditions. It is comfy and spacious with stove compatibility to warm up the tent. The bell tent is breathable, waterproof and resistant as it is made of 100% cotton canvas with additional silicone treatment finish for additional water repellent and resistance. It has a detachable zip in/out groundsheet so you can roll up the side walls or remove the floor entirely with mesh windows, doors and vents for extra ventilation.

In case you are unable to dry it before packing, lay it out or set it up or hand the fabric as soon as possible to dry., Set your tent up properly by following all instructions. Incorrect setup can stress the canvas, seams, or zippers and affect performance in harsh weather.

    • Great tent. Huge and works in freezing temps
I purchased this tent in January and we set it up the beginning of February right before a storm. We heard there was a big storm moving in here in Utah so we set up the tent to see how it would do. It was easy for me and my son to set up. Because it was the first time it took longer to set up then it will next time. Still only took about :40 min. I think now we know how everything goes together we could do it in :20 min. Well, the storm came in, the wind blew hard and the snow flew. The tent was solid. We slept out there for several nights with low temperatures about 12 degrees. We set up a wood burning stove and we had a big buddy heater. With both it stayed warm but when the fire died out in the middle of the night the big buddy heater wasn’t enough to keep it toasty but we had good sleeping bags and I would say it didn’t get colder than 40 degrees in the tent. By the way this tent is huge!!!! We got the 6 meter and it is sooooo big. It will be nice when we have the whole family in there but you will definitely need a big area to set it up. With the diameter of the tent plus the guy wires you will need to plan for 25-30 feet to set it up. I got this tent for the occasional time when our kodiak 10’x14’ tent isn’t big enough and this tent delivers for size. Quality is excellent also!! The tent is amazing and exceeded my expectations. The reviews are great, but the tent is even better. It is quality, heavy duty, functional and well made for my purposes. I bought it to leave set up on one my places for the winter as a hunting base camp for my 10 year old son and I to use as we could. I originally set it up at my house and water proofed it per instructions. I then set it up out at one of the ranches two months ago, stocked it with our cots, provisions and a wood stove and left it. It has encountered all kinds of high winds, freezing temperatures (we live in South Texas so the lowest temp we have camped is 26) and it hasn’t moved an inch or let in a drop of water. It is heavy as all get out, but I can easily set it up by myself. As long as you don’t have to pack it far you are good. I am more than happy with my purchase and I think it will last several more years. We have camped in it several times and are really impressed. ... show more

I'm a traveling forester by trade so I often need to spend long amounts of time away from my house. I've been fully living in this bell tent for a week now and I absolutely love it. It's spacious and durable and keeps you pretty warm at night. It heats up really quick in the day, but just open some of the windows for a cross breeze and it's comfy again. I had some confusion about shipping as Amazon only gave me one tracking number. So I went to the White DUck website and their chat bubble is manned by a real person and they helped me get the second tracking number immediately. Initially, I thought this tent was amazing however, after using it a couple of times and once in the rain, the moisture just stays even if it’s not raining any moisture is like absorbs really unhappy for the money that I spent on this

We have been looking for a canvas tent that would withstand long term use. It is extremely well made, durable and so far not effected by strong winds here in the southwest. It is roomy, comfortable and stays fairly cool and well ventilated. Ventilation at the top helps keep it cool. The cordage that comes with it is extremely strong and is easily tightened. Has good heavy duty tent stakes. We are very happy and we think it is the best canvas tent for long term on the market. Easy to set up with good door opening. I’ve had this a couple of years now. The first year it rained heavily for a couple of hours and I had no leaks. If I had to do it over again I would order the 16 foot model rather than the 13 foot. I couldn’t put a queen air mattress length wise between the wall and the center pole. We had to place it to the side of the pole, so I had to crawl onto the mattress. ... show more

The quality of material is excellent. Yet one person, meaning me at 72yrs., cannot me the yurt up alone. It is too heavy. I have a wagon to move it and then the stakes separately. But it is very heavy.
