Building stuff is not my strong suit but the directions were basic and clear enough for me to do this on my own. It did take about 5 hours start to finish. There are a LOT of pieces. None of it is hard or confusing, just tedious. Everything came in great shape, no cracks, scratches or scrapes. All the pieces were there. Overall I was pretty impressed with how sturdy it seemed. For the most part everything lined up and fit together how it should which is something I sometimes run into with putting together furniture items. The only thing I didn’t love was the stick on light bulbs, they seem cheap, but I guess I understand why they do it this way. I also didnt bother to read the instructions initially when installing the lights and didn’t realize you could twist them to adjust the length between bulbs! Once I saw that, it made things a lot easier. Over all this seems like a great little vanity and my daughter loves it! ... show more

I bought this for my 10yr old niece and she loves it. It is perfect size for a pre-teen, teen. I don't think it woukd be big enough for an adult but we are also pretty tall, in my family. Once together it looks great and is sturdy. I will say that putting this together is not for the faint of heart. Holy God are there a lot of pieces. Plan on several hours before being done. Even with my husband's help it took hours! It was worth it in the end though to see her face light up and set all her things up in it. ... show more

My grand daughter asked for this for Christmas. It arrived on time and was exactly as described. It took a bit to put it together but was very sturdy and the storage is excellent. My grand daughter was thrilled with it she had it filled by Christmas night.

Well…the reviews don’t lie…7 hours for one person to put together! BUT…it’s beautiful and my teenager absolutely loves it! Everything works on it perfect!! Oh and wasn’t expecting this till Jan and came today Dec 20!!! Just buy it!! 5 days!!!!!
