The media could not be loaded. I never ever thought I would purchase a sound machine. This is compact it’s just perfect. There’s no words to describe it! I have to sleep with a fan on! Always. Since I was like 12 yrs old! I ran across this item and the price was perfect! The directions are very easy to follow. Plus you can also extend the warranty by 24 months if you email the company your order number from Amazon, which I thought was fabulous. It has so many different sounds, I was blown away! It even has a airplane sound. I believe there are five different sounds for each series. Such as the fan sound, there are five different type of fan sounds. I believe 20 sounds in all. When I use to travel to my ex mother in laws house, I knew she did not have a fan. I would have to bring a small one with me. I also travel out of state to visit my grown daughters, if I stay over night at a hotel while driving to their state, I never have a fan! Well this is a game changer. It’s so compact you can just place it in your suitcase and you’re good to go. I’m so happy I bought this! I did tell the company when I sent them an email to extend my warranty since I was with the Air Force one of my favorite sounds are military jets once you live in military housing you get use to the sound of jets constantly flying over your house so that’s like a fan to me, hearing the sound of F-16s and F-35s flying over one’s house. I asked them on the next one they release, if they could add that sound and also trains! I live very close to Canadian pacific in Canadian national railyards…but unfortunately, it’s in the back of my house, and my bedroom is in the front of the house, so I really can’t hear them. But I love the sound of them! This would make a perfect gift for anyone or for yourself. If you’re thinking about purchasing a sound machine, this one’s perfect I would not pass this one up. I am very happy that I came across this excellent product! P.S. I no longer need to use my fan to fall asleep. This sound machine does a perfect job!

This is my first sound machine purchase, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I bought it for myself, an adult with high anxiety/sensitivity to unwanted noises. Previously, I was having trouble relaxing without 1-2 fans running to cover up other sounds. Even my fans sometimes cause irritation as they get old and start making inconsistent noises. I was also starting to get too cold at night and it's a waste of electricity. So... sound machine! I like the variety of sound options. I usually stick to the same "fan" sound option, but sometimes switch to a different fan or the brown noise. Even though I don't use most of the sounds, the options are important to me for being able to choose the most neutral option to me. The simple design is easy to figure out, and I like the small lightweight size of it. I keep it on the headboard of my bed and if I'm feeling particularly irritated by outside sounds it's easy for me to reach up and turn the volume up, or even bring it closer to my head. It's also much easier to communicate with my roommate from the next room; it used to be impossible to hear him over my fans and a hassle to get up and turn them off just to hear him talking, but now I just need to pause my sound machine. My one issue is that the speaker is on the bottom, so the sound changes depending on what surface it's on and how it echoes. I don't really like the sound it makes when it's resting on my wood headboard or nightstand, so I tend to turn it on its side so the speaker is unobstructed. Easy problem to solve, but I would prefer if the speaker was on top and the buttons on the side of it instead. Not sure how it compares to other similar products, but if you're looking for something simple and easy to use, this is a great machine.

Good variety of different sounds. The machine needs more power as Tim Taylor would say. The sound is a bit flat and could use a more full range of sound, that is, it needs more base. The size is great for traveling but is probably why it lacks in power.

I purchased two of these four years ago and they’re still working. They’re great. We prefer the sound of these over other sound machines. The sound is just right as, it’s supposed to be. There is small and they’re easy to use. I did have two delivered that weren’t working and I had to return them which was annoying but I now have one that’s working and it’s as good as the others that I’ve had for years. I think maybe the other two I received were opened and used. But I’m not sure. They are cheap but work well.

We use this to help muffle the barking of neighborhood dogs so our dog doesn't bark in response. It's also a great sleep aid, I need white noise (one of the fans is my top choice) b/c I'm such a light sleeper.
